Lucknow University has announced the start of direct admission applications for B.Tech and MCA programs for the 2026-2027 academic year, extending the application deadline. Interested applicants can submit their applications until August 12th.
The university directly fills the remaining seats after the UPTAC admission campaign. The relevant application form is already uploaded to the official website, and students can be enrolled by filling out this document.
After filling out the application, a draft fee of 1600 rupees must be paid to the university's financial controller. Information regarding available seats was supposed to be provided on August 7th, after which a list of admitted students based on ranking will be published.
Direct admission is available for the following programs: Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering AI under the B.Tech program.
What are the admission requirements?
To be admitted to the B.Tech programs, students must have completed the 12th grade at any accredited institution, possessing a certificate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
What are the requirements for MCA?
For the MCA program, applicants must hold a BCA or B.Sc (Computer Science), B.Sc (IT), B.Tech (CSE), or B.Tech (IT) degree. Admission is also permitted if the student has completed any other bachelor's program, such as B.E, B.Tech, B.Sc, B.Com, or B.A, provided that the program included a Mathematics course at the 12th-grade or bachelor's level. Furthermore, a score of no less than 50 percent in an examination is required.
