Sales volume of Tata Tiago Facelift increased in July; the car is equipped with a 360-degree camera and 6 airbags

The Indian market is seeing an improvement in the sales of small cars, and Maruti Suzuki is benefiting most from this. In July, the company sold a total of 2,41 vehicles, including those for the domestic market and exports.

Regarding small models, the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 has entered the list of the 15 best-selling cars. 12,534 units of this model were sold in July. This represents an approximate sales growth of 112% for the Alto compared to July of last year.

In July 2025, Maruti sold 5,910 units of this car, whereas in the current July, the figure reached 12,534. The Alto K10 is the second most affordable car from Maruti Suzuki; the cheaper S-Presso sells significantly less than the Alto K10.

The Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 is available in both petrol and CNG variants. The price starts from 3.69 lakh for the exterior version, while the top-end petrol version costs 5.44 lakh. For the CNG model, the price starts from 4.81 lakh and reaches 5.31 lakh.

The car is available in various color options. In terms of appearance, it is equipped with a honeycomb-style grille and a rear parking sensor with 13-inch wheels. The interior features an audio system with steering wheel controls and voice control.

The car is fitted with a digital display speedometer and the SmartPlay Studio system, which supports smartphone navigation functions. The vehicle is offered with both manual and automatic transmissions.

The Alto K10 is equipped with a 998 cc engine that generates 68 hp. The petrol version provides a fuel economy of 24.90 kilometers per liter, while the CNG variant produces 56 hp and has a consumption of 33.85 kilometers per kilogram.

A key feature is the presence of six standard airbags, ensuring safety even in the base configuration. A rear parking sensor is also integrated into the car. The vehicle is built on the HEARTECT platform and comes with standard electronic stability control.

July was a very successful month for Honda, as the company recorded higher sales this month compared to last year and the previous month. In July 2026, Honda's total sales reached 542,934 units, achieving a year-on-year growth of 5.35 percent. In contrast, Honda's two-wheeler sales in July 2025 were 515,378 units.

The company also achieved higher sales in July compared to June 2026. Domestically, Honda sold 476,436 units, while exports reached 66,498 units with a 35.58 percent increase. Since Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India is set to introduce new models, this strong sales performance will give the company confidence to move forward.

An analysis of the sales figures shows that during the first four months of the fiscal year 2027, i.e., from April to July, the company sold over 2.154 million two-wheelers, indicating a growth of 13.97 percent. The company sold an average of 17,656 units per day in 122 days. Alongside the domestic market, the company's exports have also increased; the company exported over 264,000 two-wheelers in the last four months.

This rapid growth by Honda comes at a time when the company is preparing for its biggest launch in the country. At a recently held event, Honda showcased 10 new bikes and scooters that will be launched in the Indian market in the coming time.

These bikes and scooters will gradually become available in the Indian market, including several new names entering the market for the first time. For example, the Honda ADV 160 is an adventure street scooter that the company is bringing, and it will be the country's first flex fuel scooter, meaning it can also run on ethanol.

Additionally, the company will introduce the CB500 Roadster, Rebel 300, Rebel 500, XR 300 L Dual Sport motorcycle, XR 300 Rally Adventure Tourer, and QC3 electric scooter. Honda has also updated its current CB 350, CB350 C, and CB 350 RS with new color options.

July 2026 proved to be an outstanding month for Tata Motors. The company demonstrated a 59% increase in sales compared to the same period last year. The company's sales improved in both domestic and global markets, including the electric vehicle segment.

In the electric vehicle sales sector, Tata Motors reached a new milestone by exceeding the monthly volume of 15 thousand units of electric vehicles wholesale for the first time. In the EV segment, Tata achieved significant success by crossing the 15,000 monthly electric vehicle sales mark for the first time. In July 2026, 15,217 electric vehicles were sold, compared to 7,124 in July of last year. The brand's sales grew by 8,093 units, corresponding to an increase of 113.6%.

However, according to data from the previous month, the Tata Punch and Nexon were the most in-demand. In June, 21,006 units of the Punch and 18,335 units of the Nexon were sold.
