Considering the needs of those who use electric bikes for long distances, Juiced Bikes has introduced an update to its Scrambler Hardtail line. This new version features two batteries and promises a range of up to 200 km.
While maintaining the characteristic design inspired by small motorcycles, the bike has received a significant energy boost. The main change is the addition of a second battery positioned under the frame, increasing the total capacity to 38.4 Ah and providing 1,996 Wh of energy.
According to Juiced, under ideal usage conditions and with economical riding, the range can reach 120 miles, which is equivalent to approximately 200 km. This increase is beneficial for cyclists who need to cover long distances or who use the vehicle's power for longer periods.
In addition to the extended range, the extra battery benefits even those who are not seeking maximum distance, allowing for greater use of the accelerator and more powerful modes before needing a recharge. The Scrambler Hardtail preserves the aesthetic that helped consolidate Juiced in the market, blending elements of traditional minibikes with modern e-bike components.
In contrast to the full suspension version, the Hardtail employs a lighter and simpler structure. However, wide tires are incorporated to help absorb impacts on uneven surfaces.
The rear motor maintains its maximum power of 1,764 W. It is important to note that the inclusion of the second battery aims to extend the usage time between recharges without altering the bike's top speed. Juiced is selling the Scrambler Hardtail with dual battery for US$ 1,999 (which corresponds to about R$ 10.2 thousand), a price US$ 245 (approximately R$ 1.2 thousand) lower than the company's suggested price.
The purchase package also includes various accessories, such as fenders, handlebar bag, handlebar protection, personalized front plate, an exclusive name, and stickers. With this new configuration, the bike targets an audience that desires greater range without sacrificing its distinct look, positioning the Scrambler Hardtail as a robust option for longer trips.
