Hindalco Industries reported on Friday that its consolidated net profit for the June quarter increased by more than 75 percent compared to the same period last year, reaching 7,013 crore rupees. The growth was driven by increased revenues from the aluminum and copper segments.
The company, which is part of the Aditya Birla Group, stated in its stock exchange report that the net profit in the first quarter of the previous fiscal year (2025-26) was 4,004 crore rupees.
From April to June, the company's total revenue also rose to 85,882 crore rupees compared to 64,834 crore rupees the previous year, representing an increase of about 32 percent.
Revenue from the aluminum raw material segment amounted to 13,403 crore rupees, while the contribution from copper reached 17,232 crore rupees. Revenues from Novelis, an American aluminum producer and subsidiary of Hindalco Industries, totaled 54,763 crore rupees.
