The third stage of the 'Teacher of the Year' competition has started at the Pedagogical Center of the Samarkand region. Representatives of the Department of Preschool and School Education of the Samarkand region attended the opening ceremony and wished the participants success. Additionally, detailed information was provided on the procedure for conducting the tests, evaluation criteria, and the main requirements for the competition process.
Following this, a drawing was conducted in the spirit of openness and transparency, which determined the order of participation of each teacher in the competition trials. In this stage, which will take place from July 28 to 30 of this year, 416 teachers selected from 208 districts and cities of the republic will participate. Among them, 32 teachers represent the Samarkand region.
These teachers cooperate with the aim of improving the quality and efficiency of education, widely implementing modern pedagogical technologies, and demonstrating their professional potential. Based on the results of the competition, winners will be determined: one representative from each district (city) of the Samarkand region, totaling 16 people, as well as 208 teachers at the republican level.
According to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, each winner will be awarded a monetary bonus of 576 million 800 thousand sums, which corresponds to 1400 times the basic calculation indicator.

Based on his many years of observations, scientific research, and visits to Uzbekistan, the author describes the country's past history, current development, and future goals from the perspective of a foreign intellectual. The book was prepared in Uzbek and Turkish languages and was created within the framework of the 'Ambassadors of Enlightenment' project, with the proposal of the Republic Center for Spirituality and Education, the 'Enlightenment' Promoters Society, and the Institute of Socio-Spiritual Studies.
'Uzbekistan as I Know It' is considered one of the important sources for enriching international scientific and educational views about the country and for gaining a deeper understanding of Uzbekistan's past, present, and future.
