Today marked the premiere of the film 'Playback', which tells the story of the singer Carlos Paiao, highlighting lesser-known aspects of his career and personal life. This film, created by Sergio Grasciano, recreates and reinterprets key moments in the musician's biography.
The film 'Playback' is showing in 55 cinemas. It covers important stages in the creative path of the singer and composer, including his participation in the Song Festival, as well as personal events such as studying medicine and marrying Zaida Cardoso.
The lead role in the film was played by actor Rafael Ferreira, who was chosen after a selection process involving over two hundred candidates. Laura Dutra, Beatriz Brash, Mariana du O, Rita Duran, Antonio Mortagua, Anabela Moreira, and Albano Jeronimo also participated in the project, among others.
