The climate deeptech and robotics startup Solinas Integrity, which was incubated at IIT Madras, successfully raised $5.5 million in a Series A1 funding round. Hero Enterprise Partner Ventures led this round, with participation from Mela Ventures. Additionally, Luthra Group participated in the round.
The company stated in a release that existing investor SBI Ventures doubled its stake and also received further support from Rainmatter and 8X Ventures Fund I.
This new round followed a Series A round for Solinas in May 2024, which involved SBI Ventures through the SVL-SME Fund (Neev II). This event highlights the deepening connection between India's climate technology innovation ecosystem and global capital focused on sustainable development.
Solinas was founded by Divansh Kumar and Moynak Banerjee. The company develops robotic systems and artificial intelligence-based solutions used for inspecting, cleaning, and digitizing underground water supply and sewage infrastructure. Thus, they address issues of water leakage, pollution, and manual waste collection.
The Chennai-based startup plans to use the raised capital to expand operations, deepen penetration into current markets, and enter new states and municipal corporations across India. Furthermore, the funds will be directed towards strengthening the company's international presence, with a special focus on the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
Solinas aims to achieve revenues of 100 crore rupees by the 2028 fiscal year. This growth will be driven by increased business in water supply and sanitation, as well as industrial asset management.

From here, we also plan to venture into adjacent, high-risk sectors—starting with oil and gas and defense, where the same discipline regarding critical, invisible infrastructure applies.'
The company will also accelerate the development of next-generation robotic technologies for inspection and cleaning, strengthen its AI-based software and asset management platforms, and expand its portfolio of industrial solutions.

Pinegap, an AI-powered equity research platform headquartered in New York with a technology center in Bangalore, has successfully raised $8 million in a Series A funding round. The round was led by Stellaris Venture Partners.
Existing investors, including Inventus, Silicon Valley Quad, and DeVC, also participated in this funding round. Pinegap stated that it plans to use the raised funds to develop its marketing and sales operations, expand its engineering team, and create an internal group of former equity research analysts.
According to an official statement, Pinegap automates the daily workflows of institutional buyers' analysts to scale across hedge funds, long-term mutual funds, and Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) in the United States.
The startup, founded in 2024 by Ankit Varmany and Dipak Sharma, collaborates closely with fund teams to understand their research processes, investment theses, and workflows. The company then creates custom AI agents tailored to each fund's investment style, private data, and output formats. These agents operate on a 'push-based' principle: results are delivered to the analyst's inbox on a schedule or when market events trigger them, rather than requiring a request.
Pinegap reported that it has already deployed over a thousand such agents for more than one hundred institutional clients, generating over 50,000 research reports monthly.
Dipak Sharma, co-founder and CEO of Pinegap, noted: 'Every workflow we automate—whether it's preliminary revenue review, company summaries, or thesis trackers—gives analysts back time they can spend on what only they can do: judgment, conviction, and decision-making. Pinegap is not a chatbot or a search tool. It is a platform built around how a fund actually operates, customized to its data, its format, and its investment style.'
Pinegap emphasized that institutional asset managers are facing an era characterized by increasing data volumes, shorter research cycles, and growing pressure on returns. Therefore, Pinegap is developing AI infrastructure that allows analysts to use their time more effectively, transforming the most repetitive parts of the research process into a self-sufficient mechanism.
Groundcover has raised $100 million in a new funding round. New investors One Peak and Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital participated in this round. Zeev Ventures, Angular Ventures, Heavybit, and Jibe also took part in the financing.
Thanks to this round, the total amount of funds raised by the Tel Aviv-based company Groundcover has reached $160 million. The company announced that it plans to use these funds for global deployment, deepening partnerships with leading cloud service providers, and accelerating and intensifying product innovations.
Over the past year, the company has served more than 250 enterprises, many of which are Fortune 5 companies, as well as fast-growing startups. During this period, Groundcover tripled its revenue and doubled its staff to 130 employees worldwide.
As the volume of workloads utilizing artificial intelligence or functioning as autonomous systems increases, engineering teams require a deeper understanding of infrastructure, applications, and the AI workloads themselves, without compromising costs or ensuring data security and privacy.
Groundcover offers to combine adaptive eBPF sensors with support for the ready-made OpenTelemetry solution to create complete telemetry across infrastructure, applications, and AI workloads, eliminating data sampling. Shahar Azulai, CEO and founder of Groundcover, stated: 'We are entering the AI era, and this requires a new observability model, different from what we have today.' He noted that they use eBPF and BYOC infrastructure to provide clients with a platform capable of serving both engineers and autonomous AI agents operating in production environments.
Unlike traditional observability platforms that reduce or selectively collect telemetry data to control costs, Groundcover captures operational data with full fidelity, keeping it in the customers' own cloud environments. This approach allows organizations to maintain privacy, reduce operational costs, and improve AI-driven decision-making.
The company's Agent Mode feature further extends these capabilities, helping engineering teams automatically detect, troubleshoot, and fix issues in the production environment. By providing complete operational visibility, Groundcover aims to create the data foundation necessary for autonomous software operations.
Venture firm One Peak noted that Groundcover has developed an observability platform specifically designed for AI-centric environments. The investment firm believes that Groundcover's architecture positions it to define the next generation of observability infrastructure as enterprises increasingly rely on AI-based applications.
The platform has gained popularity among organizations seeking greater control over operational data and reducing dependence on outdated monitoring systems that struggle with rapidly growing volumes of telemetry. Groundcover plans to use the new funding to strengthen commercial activities, especially in North America, where it continues to attract clients from established observability vendors. Furthermore, the company intends to enter additional international markets and deepen its co-selling programs with leading cloud providers.
