A meeting was held at the 'Rossotrudnichestvo' representative office in Uzbekistan dedicated to admission to the Tashkent branch of Bauman State Technical University for the 2026/2027 academic year.

It is reported that student admission to the branch in the 2026/2027 academic year will be the first in the institution's history. Currently, enrollment is open for bachelor's degree programs: 'Informatics and Computer Engineering,' 'Information Systems and Technologies,' and 'Design and Technology of Electronic Means.' A total of 100 places have been allocated, 30 of which are designated for study based on the state grant program of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to the practical aspects of education, the participation of university teachers in the educational process, cooperation with industrial enterprises, and the organization of industrial practice for students.
It was also announced that the official opening ceremony of the Tashkent branch of Bauman State Technical University is scheduled for September 7 of this year. After the event, university representatives provided detailed answers to the questions of future applicants and their parents.
The professional exhibition 'TalabaExpo – 2026' took place in the city of Nukus at the 'Oqqush' complex as part of the 'Kelajakka Qadam' (Step into the Future) program.

From January to June 2026, the average nominal wage in Uzbekistan was 7.09 million soms, with the highest figure recorded in Tashkent.
The wage for January-June 2026 reached an average of 7,911 thousand soms nationwide. This figure exceeds the same period last year by 18.4%. For comparison, in January-June 2022, the average wage was 3,551.6 thousand soms, which represents an almost twofold increase in the average salary over four years.
When comparing by region, the highest average wage level was noted in the city of Tashkent, where it reached 12.014 million soms. Following in terms of income level is the Navoi region, where the average salary amounted to 8.723 million soms.
The lowest values for the average wage were registered in the Kashkadarya region, where it was 4.865 million soms, as well as in the Surkhandarya region, where the indicator reached 4.937 million soms.
