Currently, there are a total of 6983 farms operating in the Namangan region. Among them, 119 women head farms specializing in cotton and grain crops.
Most of these women possess many years of experience and achieve high results by adopting modern agricultural technologies. The work of these women has been recognized, as 26 female farmers have received the distinction 'Ilghor Fermer' to date.
In anticipation of the celebration of the 35th anniversary of independence, a joyful event took place in the village of Sirdaryo, in the Pakhtakor quarter. A new state preschool educational institution designed for 150 children was solemnly commissioned there.
This project was implemented as part of the execution of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 3, 2025, 'On measures for the active development of the socio-production infrastructure of the Syrdarya region.' 4 billion 600 million soums were allocated for the construction and equipping of the new kindergarten. As a result, a modern and spacious educational environment was created that meets all the necessary conditions for the comprehensive development of children.
The head of the Syrdarya district, Azizbek Turdimurodov, participated in the opening ceremony. He emphasized that the state policy on developing the system of preschool education and increasing the intellectual and spiritual potential of children is being consistently implemented in the country. Furthermore, he noted that the new kindergarten will ensure quality upbringing for children and create significant convenience for parents.
The institution is equipped with large and bright groups designed taking into account the age and interests of the children. It also has halls for music and physical culture, a medical office, a dining hall, and many rooms equipped with modern educational equipment. Modern playgrounds and green areas have been established in the district to ensure meaningful leisure and physical development for children.
According to worker Bakhtiyor Kenjaev, the commissioning of the new institution in anticipation of Independence Day was a great gift for the residents of the quarter. He expressed great joy at the opportunity to see the conditions created for their children and grandchildren. Bakhtiyor Kenjaev added that the modern kindergarten has all the possibilities for receiving a quality education and achieving healthy, full development. He particularly noted that the educators are highly qualified specialists who approach child-rearing responsibly, and he expressed gratitude to the head of state for such care and attention.
The commissioning of the new kindergarten is an important step towards expanding coverage of preschool education in the quarter, creating a modern educational environment for children, and providing additional convenience for parents.
A presentation of the international anthology titled 'Beauty of Uzbekistan' took place in Beijing, People's Republic of China. This book was prepared under the editorship of Shokhida Yusupova, a laureate of the state award in Uzbekistan and head of the 'Shine Girls Academy' in Uzbekistan, as well as Ananda Jiao, head of the Chinese National Association for Teaching Arts and Cultural Academies of the PRC.
The anthology includes stories, poems, articles, and essays written by talented women who are actively working in various fields across the country. The main goal of this project is to widely promote the rich cultural heritage and creative potential of New Uzbekistan on the international stage, as well as to support the intellectual capabilities of women and strengthen cultural ties between states.
Representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Beijing, writers, professors, and international youth leaders attended the presentation ceremony. Project leader Sh. Yusupova emphasized that the main task is to present the country and its educated, capable women internationally. She reported that cultural exchange projects are currently being implemented with prestigious universities in the USA, China, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Egypt, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates. According to her, the publication of international anthologies featuring the creative works of talented women contributes to forming a positive image of Uzbekistan and Uzbek women.
Attendees shared their impressions of the book and the project. For instance, Deng Zongde, Chairman of the China Committee for Innovation in Cultural Tourism, noted that this book is not just a collection of stories but a strong bridge between cultures. He added that through its pages, one could get a deeper understanding of the knowledge, strength, and elegance of Uzbek women, and the book evokes very warm and bright perceptions of Uzbekistan and Uzbek girls.
It is worth noting that the 'Shine Girls Academy' conducts a number of initiatives aimed at the personal and professional development of women. To date, over 70 thousand women have completed training at the Academy in areas such as personal development, foreign language study, and entering the international arena.
Thus, the presentation in Beijing became a vivid example of how the voice of the republic's educated and capable women is growing louder on the world stage, and how national culture and spiritual heritage are receiving deserved recognition in the global community.
