The Indian Medical Association (IMA) has announced its intention to hold a nationwide strike if the Maharashtra government does not withdraw its recent decision. This decision permits the registration of BHMS (Homeopathy) graduates who have completed the Certification Course in Modern Pharmacology (CCMP) at the Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC).
The IMA headquarters labeled the Government Resolution (GR) of the Maharashtra government from August as 'illegal.' The Indian Medical Association opposed this move, demanding the cancellation of the specialists' registration permission.
