In Tashkent, someone was held accountable for improper care of seedlings from the 'Yashil Maqon' project

A video appeal from a family from the Yakkasaray district of Tashkent appeared on social media, reporting forced eviction from their home due to a dispute with a developer. After this appeal became known, the capital's prosecutor's office took control of the situation and began an investigation.

The residents stated that they were left without housing and could not use the compensation received to purchase a new apartment. In their appeal to the head of the Presidential Administration, Saida Mirziyoyeva, the family demanded intervention to resolve the problem.

In the video appeal, the applicants emphasized: 'We are left without housing. It cannot be that people are kicked out of their own home and given pennies that we cannot use to buy an apartment for ourselves.'

According to local residents, employees of the development company LLC 'Mega Logistics Service' initiated the demolition of the house and attempted to enter the premises without the family's consent. As a result, the family had to accept the proposed terms, receive money through the Enforcement Bureau, and complete all required documents.

The applicants also mentioned that they had previously appealed to both judicial bodies and prosecutor's offices but failed to achieve protection of their rights.

'We were just asking for housing, for a roof over our heads,' the applicants added.

Representatives of the prosecutor's office reported that after receiving the appeal, representatives of the department and the capital's hokimiyat went to the site. They studied the situation together with the video authors and accepted their statements. A decision in accordance with current legislation will be made based on the results of the inspection.

Earlier, it was also reported in Tashkent that the construction of a business center on the territory where there were children's and sports grounds in the 'Lolazor' mahalla led to the initiation of a criminal case.

Videos showing the dismantling of trade objects on Katartal Street in the Chilkazar district of Tashkent circulated on social media. These footage prompted questions among local residents, to which the district hokimiyat provided explanations regarding which specific objects were demolished and the reasons for these works.

According to information provided by the district hokimiyat press service, the structures were built on sidewalks and along the road surface without the required permits. The administration clarified that the goal of these measures is to free up the pedestrian zone near the Katartal market, as a large number of illegal constructions created obstacles for pedestrian movement.

Comments on the demolition of the 'Nomdor' cafe

Furthermore, the hokimiyat commented on the demolition of the 'Nomdor' cafe. Authorities reported that the dismantling began based on a court decision because this establishment was built without appropriate permits. The owner of the object was offered the opportunity to consider relocating their business to another location compliant with the law, and employees were promised assistance in finding new jobs.

The administration also emphasized that all entrepreneurs are obliged to obtain the necessary permits before starting construction of any objects. If this requirement is not met, such structures may be demolished by court order.

There was also previous information about planned repair and improvement works at the Sergeli automotive market in Tashkent. The capital authorities denied rumors about the possible demolition of this market.

A comprehensive inventory of all urban territories designated for public use is planned in Tashkent. This inspection will aim to assess the legality of issued construction permits, as well as monitor compliance with urban planning standards and citizens' rights.

The Head of the Presidential Administration, Saied Mirziyoyev, stated that lands allocated for residents' needs—including green zones, playgrounds, sports facilities, and courtyards—must retain their original purpose. These areas must not be used for constructing residential or office buildings.

The impetus for this statement arose in the Lolazor mahalla of the Mirabad district of Tashkent. Local residents reported that trees they had planted were cut down, and a business center was planned to be built on the site of a playground.

Saied Mirziyoyev emphasized that residents have every right to be dissatisfied when playgrounds and courtyards disappear due to construction work.
