The event was attended by the management of 'Uzbekistan Railways' JSC, 'Temiryulinfrastructure' JSC, and the Tashkent Regional Branch, as well as representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Uzbekistan and journalists.
The launch of this new transport route is a practical result of high-level agreements and meetings reached between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko. The tasks of strengthening strategic partnership between the two states, increasing mutual trade volumes, and expanding industrial cooperation through modern logistics infrastructure are being implemented.
The foundation of this project was laid at a bilateral meeting held from July 11 to 14 of this year in the Vitebsk region of Belarus. At this meeting, issues of transporting agricultural and other types of goods by rail were discussed.
Train number 3034, which departed from the Orsha-Vostochnaya station in Belarus on July 30, 2026, consisted of 51 wagons and covered a distance of 3,822 kilometers to reach the Chukursoy station.
During the event, it was emphasized that 'Uzbekistan Railways' JSC will continuously develop cooperation with Belarusian railways, improve international transport routes, and continue to expand trade and economic ties between the two countries.
The 'Chinor' metro station will resume full operation for passengers at 05:00 on July 29 after reconstruction works.
The station was temporarily closed to create modern and comfortable infrastructure, as well as to carry out reconstruction and expansion works. It is emphasized that during the repair process, the entrance and exit sections of the station were expanded.
The number of turnstiles has been increased from the previous six to 13. Additionally, transfer passages that caused inconvenience to passengers have been incorporated into the new design, creating a direct transfer possibility between stations.
Before the reconstruction, the 'Chinor' station served an average of 15 thousand passengers per day. After the renovation, the station's capacity has been increased to 35–40 thousand people per day.

Furthermore, artistic and cultural programs prepared by national cultural centers were presented, which contributed to the wide promotion of the ideas of friendship, solidarity, and mutual respect among representatives of different nations and ethnicities.

Aqilbek Berdibekov, head of the department for coordinating the activities of initial organizations in military units and youth education in the spirit of military patriotism, as well as Zayd Makhsetbayev, head of the initial organization of the Youth Union of Nukus State Technical University, received these badges.
