French specialist Hervé Renard has officially become the new head coach of the Ivory Coast national team. This was announced via the social media channels of the Ivory Coast Football Federation (FIF).
Previously, Renard managed this national team from 2014 to 2015. In his career, he has also worked with national teams from countries such as Zambia, Angola, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, and Tunisia. At the club level, he has led teams from France, England, Vietnam, and Djibouti.
It is worth noting that at the 2026 World Cup, the Ivory Coast national team reached the round of 16, where they lost to Norway with a score of 1:2. Furthermore, in his coaching career, Hervé Renard achieved success by winning the Africa Cup of Nations with the national teams of Zambia and Ivory Coast.
