Renowned journalist Thomas Ronsero commented on the negotiations between the Madrid club Real and Vinicius Jr. regarding a new contract. According to available information, the parties have not yet been able to reach an agreement on the terms of the new deal.
The footballer's current contract expires in less than a year. Ronsero noted that the situation is repeating itself: Vinicius was offered 22 million euros, but he is demanding 30 million euros.
He recalled that Cristiano Ronaldo's last contract at Real stipulated a net annual salary of 22 million euros, and this is the offer that Vinicius rejected. Furthermore, Ronsero reported that Cristiano demanded 30 million euros, while Real offered 25 million euros, after which he left the club.
It was also mentioned that Cristiano Ronaldo left Real in 2018, moving to Juventus. Recently, the possible transfer of Vinicius Jr. to Arsenal has also been actively discussed.
