Updated internal figures also show that the film's total worldwide debut reached $932 million, remaining second only to the colossal $1.2 billion earned by 'Endgame.'
Director Destin Daniel Cretton directed 'New Day,' where Peter Parker (Holland) lives in isolation after erasing his identity from the world and struggles with changes to his mutant abilities. He tries to reconnect with his ex-girlfriend MJ (played by Zendaya, who is Holland's real-life wife) and best friend Ned (Jacob Batalon). To cope with a new power threatening New York, Spider-Man is forced to confront it.
