Cadets of the FVV Academy Achieved High Results at International Competition

Participants of the Uzbek team are demonstrating respectable results in women's matches at the Junior World Wrestling Championship (U17), which is taking place in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.

Tournament Progress on July 31

On the second day of the women's martial arts tournament, July 31, Mukhlisa Masharipova, a member of the national team, will compete in the final of the 43 kg weight category. She will fight against German athlete Finja Vivian Strauch.

Mukhlisa Masharipova's Achievements

Previously, Mukhlisa Masharipova lost to American Suzanne Landini in the round of 16 with a score of 10:0. In the quarter-finals, she was defeated by Japanese Sera Furuichi 5:1, and in the semi-finals, she was beaten by Canadian Maya Nikeer with a score of 6:2.

Competitions in Other Weight Categories

Additionally, Shahzoda Azimova, representing the country in the 65 kg weight class, will face Ukrainian Irina Bukhtina today in a match for the bronze medal.

It should be noted that the international competition is being held with the participation of almost 700 young athletes from more than 60 countries and will last until August 2.

The professional exhibition 'TalabaExpo – 2026' took place in the city of Nukus at the 'Oqqush' complex as part of the 'Kelajakka Qadam' (Step into the Future) program.

Participants were able to learn about the opportunities to obtain preferential loans under the 'Kelajakka Qadam' program and took part in practical training sessions on business development and launch. An open dialogue titled 'Leaders and Youth' was held, where promising startup projects were discussed.

As the President emphasized, supporting youth and realizing their aspirations is one of the most important directions of state policy since the very first days of reforms. A completely new system has been created in recent years, and the activities of youth leaders have been activated in every settlement, which has opened up broad opportunities to support the initiatives of young people in the fields of employment, education, acquiring professions, and starting entrepreneurial activities.

The professional exhibition 'TalabaExpo – 2026', held in Nukus, played an important role in the comprehensive support of graduates, ensuring their employment, helping them choose a profession according to their interests, and, most importantly, in developing their knowledge and skills.

An interview session was held at the Berdak State University of Karakalpak dedicated to admitting foreign citizens for study in the 2026/2027 academic year.

Foreign applicants from China, Russia, and Kazakhstan participated in the event, expressing their desire to receive an education at this university. The meeting took place both in person and online via the Zoom platform.
