Boys and girls from all cities and districts of the region who won the preliminary selection stages took part in these competitions. The participants belong to age groups 16–21, 22–26, and 27–30 years old.
In running events, boys competed in the 100, 200, and 400-meter distances, while girls competed in the 60, 100, and 200-meter distances. Additionally, athletes tested their strength in long jump.
Upon completion of the competition, the participants demonstrated their physical fitness and athletic skill. It is emphasized that the 'Besh Tashabbus Olympiad' plays an important role in attracting youth to a healthy lifestyle, developing mass sports, and supporting talented athletes.
A training seminar on the topic 'Safety for Journalists: Digital, Psychological, and Legal Protection' was organized in the city of Bukhara. Representatives of the regional branch of the Uzbekistan Journalists Association, editors, television and radio journalists, and bloggers took part in the event.
During the seminar, risks and dangers faced by media representatives in their professional activities, as well as ways to prevent and eliminate these threats, were discussed. Furthermore, international standards for protecting journalists' rights and issues of making safe decisions in complex situations based on real-life examples and practical cases were examined.
The event was organized by the UNESCO representative office in the country in collaboration with the Content Creation Center under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
As part of the tasks set at the video selection meeting chaired by the President, practical measures are being implemented to increase energy efficiency in the Namangan region. These works are carried out in accordance with the plans for the development of the fuel and energy sector.
In this regard, the head of the Namangan region, Shavkat Abdurazzokov, familiarized himself with the progress of work being implemented in the Davlatobod district. Initially, he visited a branch of the Namangan Main Electric Grid of JSC 'National Electric Networks'.
At the branch, he studied the processes of electricity transmission and distribution, as well as the activities of the dispatch control center. Specialists provided information on the power grid management system and the current ongoing work.
Furthermore, a presentation was given on measures planned for 2026 for more efficient use of energy resources in the Davlatobod district. It highlighted projects aimed at saving electricity, natural gas, and thermal energy consumption, reducing technical losses, modernizing existing infrastructure, and ensuring stable energy supply for the population.
It was emphasized that the work being performed contributes to the rational use of energy resources, increasing network efficiency, and improving the quality of services provided to the population and business entities.
Regional volleyball competitions for boys and girls aged 16–21 were held in the city of Namangan as part of the 'Five Initiatives of the Olympiad' event.
Teams that won the preliminary stages held in all cities and districts of the region participated in the tournament. During the competition, athletes demonstrated their skills, physical fitness, and team spirit.
Following the matches, winners and prize-winners among boys and girls were determined and awarded diplomas and commemorative gifts. The teams that became regional champions will represent Namangan Region at the republican stage of the 'Five Initiatives of the Olympiad.'
