In the Turtkul district of the Karakalpakstan Republic, citizen G.Kh. appealed to the district power grid enterprise with a request to install a solar panel on his house. However, the enterprise opposed the installation.
Mediation and Problem Resolution
The citizen sent a complaint to the Federation of Consumer Rights Protection Societies of Uzbekistan through its 'Hotline'. Specialists of the local consumer protection society of the Turtkul district jointly studied the situation and provided practical assistance. The society sent a letter to the head of the district power grid enterprise, ensuring the protection of the consumer's legitimate interests.
As a result of the detailed analysis, it was established that the power grid enterprise had granted permission for the installation of a solar panel for this citizen.
Another Case Involving Goods
A complaint was also received by the Federation of Consumer Rights Protection Societies of the Karakalpakstan Republic regarding the store 'S.T', located in the Turtkul district. The consumer expressed dissatisfaction because the freezer he purchased malfunctioned, and repair work was delayed even within the warranty period.
Federation specialists studied this issue in accordance with Article 33 of the Law 'On Consumer Rights Protection' and conducted explanatory work. As a result, the freezer was repaired, and the problem was resolved.
