During the meeting, key vectors established by the head of state regarding the promotion of the physical culture and sports system were discussed. Issues concerning preparation for the Summer Asian and Para Asian Games, as well as the introduction of a specialization system based on the real needs of regions in sports equipment and inventory, public interest in certain sports, existing infrastructure, coach potential, and athlete achievements, starting from September 1st of this year, were considered.
The Head of the Executive Office of the Ministry of Sport, Bobur Hamroev, presented a report on these issues. The presentation covered the digitalization of accounting for athletes, coaches, and activities through the ERP Sport information system, the use of official demographic and electronic data when assessing mass sports coverage, and the tasks of integrating self-employed coaches working in local communities into the state sports system.
Following the meeting, recommendations were given to ensure the fulfillment of tasks within the established deadlines, including the systematic organization of decision implementation in the regions and taking measures to facilitate the work of responsible persons locally, as well as expanding the possibilities of using digital platforms.
A modern sports complex built for the residents of the Uchtepe district of the capital has been officially commissioned. This opening coincides with the 35th anniversary of Independence and the 5th anniversary of the 'Paxtakor Junior' project.
This sports facility is equipped according to all modern requirements. The football field is built to international dimensions, providing necessary conditions for both athletes and coaches. Additionally, special rooms for commentators and spectators have been created, and the entire field area is covered by video surveillance systems.
It is separately noted that this system is integrated with the central base of the 'Pakhtakor' football club. Within the sports complex, the official children's and youth football club 'Paxtakor Junior' was established. In this school, children aged from 150 to 500 are mastering the secrets of professional football under the guidance of qualified coaches.
According to specialists, this modern football complex is a practical embodiment of the reforms being carried out in the country. It serves the goals of developing youth sports, unlocking the potential of young people, and raising a healthy generation.
The Central Asia Beach Volleyball Championship is scheduled to take place in Tashkent from July 25 to 27 of this year. This tournament will serve as a tool for strong Central Asian national teams to determine regional leaders and accumulate rating points necessary for participation in the 2028 Summer Olympics.
Participation in this prestigious competition will allow leading Central Asian teams to compete not only for the championship title but also for important international rating points. Teams that finish first and second at the CAVA Championship will receive a direct pass to the Asian Beach Volleyball Championship. Currently, the Ministry of Sport and the Uzbekistan Volleyball Federation are conducting comprehensive work to organize this significant event at the highest level on the sports grounds of Tashkent.
