A large international marketing campaign has been launched with the aim of promoting Uzbekistan's tourism potential more broadly in the global market and attracting tourists from abroad, especially high-income travelers.
This project is being implemented in cooperation with leading global travel platforms: Expedia Group, Amadeus IT Group, and Trip.com. These platforms collectively cover an audience of over 2 billion people.
The marketing campaign covers countries with high tourism potential such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, South Korea, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Spain, Poland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland.
Within the promotion scope, special pages dedicated to Uzbekistan will be created, articles about the country's tourist attractions will be published, and advertising materials will be widely distributed through websites, mobile applications, social networks, and partnership networks.
According to the plan, over 180 million advertising impressions are planned during the campaign. This measure will serve to introduce Uzbekistan's historical and cultural heritage, modern tourism infrastructure, and unique travel destinations to millions of foreigners and to strengthen the country's international tourism brand.
Additionally, Expedia Group includes popular travel services such as Expedia, Hotels.com, Vrbo, Travelocity, and Orbitz. Over 300 million travelers use their services annually. Amadeus IT Group is one of the major booking systems that unites airlines, hotels, and participants in the tourism sector. Trip.com is one of the largest online travel platforms in Asia, serving over 800 million users.
