The traditional graduation evening dedicated to awarding diplomas to the 2025-2026 academic year graduates took place at the Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute.
Representatives of the Samarkand Regional Administration responsible for preschool and school education, institute teachers, the graduates themselves, their parents, and public figures attended the event.
At the beginning of the ceremony, the Minister of Preschool and School Education, E'zoza Karimova, and the Rector of the Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute, Shahzoda Negmatova, delivered speeches. They congratulated the graduates on successfully completing higher education and wished them success in their professional careers. Furthermore, they emphasized the importance of the teaching profession in society and the responsibility towards educating the younger generation.
Over the past academic year, the institute graduated over 3000 specialists in bachelor's and master's programs. These graduates are currently working in the country's education system and in other fields. Most of them have already found employment and are working in schools and preschool institutions.
During the solemn part of the event, graduates who successfully completed bachelor's and master's programs received their diplomas from the Minister of Preschool and School Education and the Rector of the Institute. The graduates took the pedagogical oath, pledging to remain faithful to the high values of the teaching profession, ensure quality education and upbringing of students, and conscientiously fulfill their professional duty.
As part of the celebration, leaders of partner educational institutions that effectively operate within the education system were recognized. The Minister of Preschool and School Education presented letters of gratitude to the heads of 32, 33, and 68 general education schools and 64 and 87 preschool institutions in the city of Samarkand, which constantly cooperate with the institute and support interns.
In addition, parents of talented graduates who achieved high results in studies and social life were awarded letters of gratitude from the institute.
