In anticipation of the celebration of the 35th anniversary of independence, a joyful event took place in the village of Sirdaryo, in the Pakhtakor quarter. A new state preschool educational institution designed for 150 children was solemnly commissioned there.
This project was implemented as part of the execution of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 3, 2025, 'On measures for the active development of the socio-production infrastructure of the Syrdarya region.' 4 billion 600 million soums were allocated for the construction and equipping of the new kindergarten. As a result, a modern and spacious educational environment was created that meets all the necessary conditions for the comprehensive development of children.
The head of the Syrdarya district, Azizbek Turdimurodov, participated in the opening ceremony. He emphasized that the state policy on developing the system of preschool education and increasing the intellectual and spiritual potential of children is being consistently implemented in the country. Furthermore, he noted that the new kindergarten will ensure quality upbringing for children and create significant convenience for parents.
The institution is equipped with large and bright groups designed taking into account the age and interests of the children. It also has halls for music and physical culture, a medical office, a dining hall, and many rooms equipped with modern educational equipment. Modern playgrounds and green areas have been established in the district to ensure meaningful leisure and physical development for children.
According to worker Bakhtiyor Kenjaev, the commissioning of the new institution in anticipation of Independence Day was a great gift for the residents of the quarter. He expressed great joy at the opportunity to see the conditions created for their children and grandchildren. Bakhtiyor Kenjaev added that the modern kindergarten has all the possibilities for receiving a quality education and achieving healthy, full development. He particularly noted that the educators are highly qualified specialists who approach child-rearing responsibly, and he expressed gratitude to the head of state for such care and attention.
The commissioning of the new kindergarten is an important step towards expanding coverage of preschool education in the quarter, creating a modern educational environment for children, and providing additional convenience for parents.
As part of the 'Improvement and Generosity in the District' event in the village of Berdak, Korauzak district, the social situation and living conditions of citizen Zhuzimgul Khabibova were studied. It was established that the family breadwinner had passed away, and the citizen lives in difficult social conditions with two minor children.
A thorough inspection of the residential premises revealed serious foundation defects, signs of structural collapse, and large cracks in the walls. Furthermore, it was found that the door and window structures were outdated and unfit for use.
According to the technical conclusion, repairing this house was deemed economically and structurally unfeasible, and reconstruction was impossible because the house was built adjacent to two other apartments. Since this apartment became uninhabitable, to improve the housing conditions of the family, considering their difficult social situation, a new two-room apartment, fully equipped with all amenities, within the territory of the 'Zhuzimbag' settlement in the Kegeyli district, was purchased and handed over to citizen Zhuzimgul Khabibova.
Islambek Tajetdinov, deputy head of the 'Waqf' charitable public foundation branch in Karakalpakstan, reported that in the current year, the old apartment of citizen Mehribon Kashimbetova in the 'Dostlik' village of Tahiyatosh district was completely destroyed, and a modern new four-room house was built in its place and put into operation. Work on repairing the housing of citizen Sarviniso Khudayberdieva from the 'Pakhtachi' village of Ellikkal'a district, who was affected by a fire, has also been completed, and the house was handed over to her.
To implement these charitable activities, the 'Waqf' charitable public foundation allocated 80 million sums. Moreover, over the past few months of the current year, the branch has provided assistance to 622 low-income families in Karakalpakstan who are without a breadwinner and need support. This aid included 164 million 320 thousand sums of food for 622 families, 12 million 820 thousand sums of beef for 63 families, 119 million 783 thousand 440 sums of children's clothing and toys for 1855 families, as well as material assistance amounting to 18 million sums for treatment and medicine for 6 families.
