The total value of electronic services provided from January to June reached 1.2 trillion soms, which is almost 83% more than 656.8 billion soms in the first half of 2025.
Over the past year, the number of foreign providers of electronic services registered as taxpayers in Uzbekistan increased from 72 to 97 companies.
The largest taxpayers were Apple, which contributed 33.6 billion soms, followed by Google with 33.3 billion soms, Meta with 29.9 billion soms, Valve Corp. with 15.8 billion soms, Anthropic with 6.3 billion soms, OpenAI with 5.6 billion soms, Midasbuy with 2.9 billion soms, Booking.com with 2.6 billion soms, TikTok with 1.6 billion soms, and Anysphere with 1.5 billion soms.
The composition of the top ten taxpayers changed compared to the previous year: Valve Corp., Anthropic, Midasbuy, and Anysphere entered the ranking, while Netflix, ACCA, Zoom, and Adobe left it.
Among the companies that remained in the top ten, OpenAI showed the most significant growth in tax contributions, increasing from 2.9 billion soms to 5.6 billion soms. Google's tax payments rose from 19.4 billion soms to 33.3 billion soms, Apple's from 22.1 billion soms to 33.6 billion soms, and Meta's from 22.6 billion soms to 29.9 billion soms.
TikTok became the only company from last year's top 10 whose tax contributions decreased, falling from 1.8 billion soms to 1.6 billion soms.
The Tax Committee reminded foreign legal entities providing electronic services in Uzbekistan that they are obliged to submit tax reports and pay taxes no later than the 20th day of the month following the end of each quarter.
According to the Tax Committee, in the first half of 2026, 68,600 private individuals received state subsidies totaling 330.822 billion soums. These funds were allocated for electricity generated by solar panels and fed into Uzbekistan's unified power grid.
The largest subsidy amount was paid in Bukhara region, where recipients received 61.9 billion soums. Additionally, subsidies in Khorezm region amounted to 60.5 billion soums, and in Kashkadarya region—37.3 billion soums.
The Tax Committee reminded recipients that accumulated subsidies can be transferred to a bank card via the Soliq mobile application using the 'Cashback and Benefits' service in the 'Solar Home' section.
The Committee also noted that under the 'Solar Home' program, owners of solar panels installed at their facilities receive 1000 soums for every kilowatt-hour of electricity they feed into the unified power grid beyond their own consumption, starting from April 1, 2023. The financing of these subsidies is carried out from the state budget.
