The trailer for the film 'Ramayana', released by Nitish Tiwari on July 30, attracted attention not only in India but also abroad. Pakistani viewers highly appreciated various aspects of the trailer, including the portrayal of Ravana played by Yash, as well as the appearance of Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama and Sai Pallavi as Sita. They were very impressed with the production value of the film and how widely the story is presented.
Pakistani content creator Mavia Umar Faruqi published his review of the trailer on Instagram, expressing surprise at the funds and technical resources invested in this project. He questioned where India and Bollywood obtain such large sums of money.
Mavia initially estimated the film's budget at 1000 crore rupees and praised the expensive visual effects, noting that Hollywood specialists were invited to work on the VFX. Despite the film being based on an Indian story and Hindu traditions, he mentioned that he really liked the trailer, stating that he was 'excited after watching the trailer' as a Pakistani.
Later, other users corrected the figures in the comments, reporting that according to reports, the total cost of this two-part project is around 4000 crore rupees. Mavia was also impressed by the presentation of Ranbir and Yash in the trailer, noting that it does not resemble any other film of this scale in Indian cinema. He added that comparing the acting of Ranbir Kapoor and Yash will be an interesting moment.
Another Pakistani YouTuber, Hasnaat Khan, was greatly impressed by Yash's portrayal of Ravana, calling it 'stunning'. Hasnaat also highly rated the technical aspects of the action scenes, noting the excellent execution of animation, CGI, and stunts, as well as the magnificent look of all visual elements. Seeing the large-scale battle scenes shown in the trailer, he repeatedly exclaimed 'wow'.
Furthermore, the channel 'Iman Moazzam Entertainment' praised Sai Pallavi's modest portrayal, noting that she looks very beautiful as Sita, and highlighted her natural and traditional appearance.
