The Uzbekistan Boxing Championship for athletes under 17 concluded in the city of Qarshi, located in the Kashkadarya region. These weekly matches not only determined the winners but also reaffirmed the presence of worthy reserves for boxing in the country.
The competitions, held from July 24 to July 31, gathered hundreds of young glove masters from various regions of the country. The bouts, conducted without judges, demonstrated the technical readiness, will, and desire of the athletes to win in each weight category.
According to the final results, the team from the Center for Olympic and Paralympic Sports Training took first place in the overall standings, winning 5 gold, 3 silver, and 2 bronze medals, thereby receiving the Uzbekistan Cup. The host province's team from Kashkadarya took second place, collecting 2 gold, 2 silver, and 2 bronze awards. Representatives of the Bahodir Jalolov School also secured a strong third position, earning 2 gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze medal.
It is worth noting that such prestigious competitions among teenagers play an important role in identifying talented boxers who will in the future represent the country honorably on the international stage. Furthermore, such matches serve as a valuable school of experience for young athletes, contributing to the improvement of their skills.

Previously, people with disabilities lived in isolation, feeling forgotten. Today, they are provided not only with attention but also with opportunities to enhance their abilities and contribute to the development of society. Even persons with disabilities now hold responsible positions in prestigious organizations, which is achieved through phased reforms.
Firstly, the National Agency for Social Protection was established, which took control of people with disabilities. Furthermore, the Center for Social Services for People in Need of Social Protection was founded under this agency, ensuring systematic coverage of vulnerable segments of the population. This is evident in the care provided to people in severe emotional crisis, as well as to women and children. Additionally, the disability determination system was radically modernized: it was completely converted to an electronic format, which allowed the elimination of excessive bureaucratic hurdles and guaranteed the prevention of third-party interference.
Thus, one of the key achievements of New Uzbekistan is the progress in the social protection system, which contributes to the formation of an inclusive environment in society. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev stressed that instead of providing material assistance to people with disabilities, they should be actively involved in the labor market and provided with favorable conditions. He noted that the most important thing for people with disabilities is the provision of opportunities, which in turn fuels hope and belief in the future.
As part of the state policy to improve the penal system, ensure human rights and freedoms, and create proper conditions for convicted and detained persons, large-scale reforms have been undertaken. These transformations are aimed not only at strengthening the material and technical base of institutions but also at implementing advanced digital solutions and international standards in this field.
In line with these goals, a new, modern building of the Central Investigative Prison, under the jurisdiction of the Department of Penal Execution of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, has been commissioned. The opening ceremony was attended by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Lieutenant General Aziz Toshpulatov, heads of state bodies for the protection of rights and legality, representatives of the Ministry of Digital Technologies, as well as members of LLC "Unicon.uz" and public representatives.
The event was attended by the Chairman of the Supreme Court Robakhon Mahmudov, Prosecutor General Nigmatulla Yuldoshev, Minister of Justice Akbar Toshkulov, Minister of Emergency Situations Azizbek Ikromov, representative of the Ombudsman of the Supreme Council for Human Rights Feruza Eshmatova, representative of the Ombudsman of the Supreme Council for Children's Rights Surayyo Rahmonova, representatives of the Bar Association, and other responsible officials who familiarized themselves with the capabilities created in the institution.
It was particularly emphasized that this institution is an important step towards fulfilling the tasks set by the head of state, preserving human value, and operating in accordance with international law norms. The main function of the Central Investigative Prison is to detain individuals under investigation until a judicial decision is made in accordance with legislative requirements. Therefore, all conditions, security measures, and legal guarantees here have been carefully considered.
The commissioning of this modern facility, which fully complies with international standards, has allowed for the resolution of several existing problems. For example, the conditions for lawyers and investigators have been radically improved: the number of lawyer rooms has increased from 19 to 50, and investigative rooms from 6 to 25. Furthermore, in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice and the Bar Association, the "E-advokat" platform has been launched, allowing lawyers to schedule meetings with protected persons online.
In the traditional system, the right to defense was provided for 70–80 people per day, but thanks to the digital platform, this figure has increased to more than 150–200 people with 19 rooms. After the commissioning of 50 new rooms, it will be possible to organize meetings with lawyers for 500–600 people daily. The number of online courtrooms has been increased from 4 to 11, expanding the possibilities for remote conducting of investigative and judicial processes. Additionally, every institution now has the capability to provide notary services online.
The number of rooms for short visits with relatives of inmates has increased from 14 to 36, which has helped reduce tension and satisfy legitimate public demands. The integration of the "E-Mahkum" platform and the intelligent monitoring platform "Qal'a" into a unified information space has facilitated information exchange with 25 organizations, including electronic document exchange with courts and investigative bodies. The control system in the institution is fully automated; separate entrances and exits are provided for citizens, staff, and lawyers, completely eliminating the problem of daily queues. 55 cells have been allocated and equipped for minors and women with children in the investigative prisons in accordance with international standards.
For the convenience of relatives of persons in places of deprivation of liberty, the sending of parcels, banners, and flowers through an online store has been introduced into practice. In the new building, constructed according to international requirements, special attention has been paid to security and transparency. All rooms and passages are equipped with high-resolution video surveillance cameras and connected to a single centralized monitoring system, which strengthens the openness and security of the institution's operation. Guests were thoroughly presented with the mechanisms of operation of polling stations established on the territory of the institution, as well as the "Raqamli do'kon," "M-billing," and "Videouchrashuv" systems designed to meet the needs of inmates. These innovative solutions contribute to ensuring the legitimate rights of inmates, maintaining contact with their loved ones, and transitioning the service provision process to a modern format.
The recent visit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Tashkent region has opened a new chapter in the region's development through established priority tasks. The decisions made during this visit are highly significant as they aim not only to increase the region's economic potential but also to improve the quality of life for the population, form modern infrastructure, and ensure innovative progress.
In particular, the cornerstone for the construction of a new toll highway along the Tashkent – Samarkand route was laid. Furthermore, tasks were set to create a Center for Advanced Technologies in the city of Nurafshon, as well as to implement new projects in the fields of digital economy and artificial intelligence. These initiatives are designed to contribute to building a competitive national economy.
Each of these measures is oriented towards ensuring human interests, creating new jobs, stimulating entrepreneurship, increasing investment volume, and strengthening economic activity in various districts. Improving transport infrastructure expands production and logistics capabilities, while the introduction of digital technologies serves as the basis for forming a new, high value-added economy.
During the meeting with regional figures, the President defined specific tasks to transform the Tashkent region into one of the country's centers for transport and logistics, industry, innovation, and digital technologies. The implementation of these tasks requires joint efforts and a responsible approach from state bodies, local Councils, political parties, and the public.
These goals are consistent with the programmatic concepts of O‘zLiDeP. The national program 'With the People' implemented by the party also contributes to solving public problems, supporting entrepreneurship, attracting investments, and comprehensively developing regions.
Therefore, systematic monitoring will be carried out through parliamentary oversight to guarantee the timely execution of each project, the effective use of budget funds, and service to citizens' interests. There is confidence that the initiated major infrastructure and innovation projects will further increase the investment attractiveness of the Tashkent region, create new production capacities, and thousands of jobs.
