The Director of the Agency for the Development of Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry, Abdulla Azizov, held a meeting with representatives of the Turkish company Alyors Holding (Orzax). The goal of the negotiations was to discuss the prospects for implementing investment projects in the pharmaceutical sector of Uzbekistan.
Discussions focused mainly on creating modern production facilities, localizing the production of pharmaceutical products, and increasing export opportunities. Representatives of the Turkish firm also shared their vision of the potential of the Uzbek pharmaceutical market and assessed the investment climate in the country.
The parties separately considered opportunities for promoting scientific and technical cooperation in the field of medicinal plants, the production of pharmaceutical raw materials and probiotics, as well as the effective use of local resources to create innovative products.
At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached to clarify the key parameters of the proposed investment project, organize the exchange of necessary information, and determine further practical measures to expand the partnership.
