American media personality Angela White has announced the release of her new memoir titled 'Sober Mine: Letting Go of Blac Chyna and Living My Faith.' In this upcoming book, White shares details of her struggle with addiction, her journey to sobriety, and her decision to move on from the image of Black Chyna.
The Path to Self-Discovery and Sobriety
According to People magazine, the memoir explores White's difficulties related to alcohol addiction and describes her path to life recovery. The book also sheds light on several significant changes in White's life, including cosmetic procedures removal, baptism, and the start of her sobriety in 2022.
The reality star shared on Instagram that her memoir is not just a book, but a reflection of the process of finding and returning to the true 'Angela White.' She stated: 'Sober Mine is more than a book; it is a story about how I found my way back to Angela White.'
Struggle and Spiritual Renewal
White revealed that for years, people thought they knew her based on what they saw online, but they were unaware of the internal battles she was fighting in private life. She mentioned aspects such as addiction, pain, shame, fear, and searching for love in places that could not help her. 'There were times when I didn't recognize the woman looking at me in the mirror,' she shared.
White added that the turning point that led her to sobriety was deep self-reflection and faith. She reported: 'Then Jesus met me where I was. Sobriety didn't just change my life; it gave it back to me. It gave me peace. It gave me clarity. It gave me purpose. And most importantly, it brought me back to Angela White.'
Content and Past Fame
The mother of two children explained that her forthcoming book is a testament to her life experiences that led her to her current state. White emphasized that this is not just a celebrity story, but a testimony of her life dedicated to humility, forgiveness, faith, healing, and understanding that the final word belongs to God, not the past. The memoir is White's last personal project and presents an unfiltered picture of her life.
At 38, White first gained fame as a model, reality TV personality, and entrepreneur. She became one of the most controversial celebrities associated with The Kardashians, attracting public attention due to her complicated relationship with Rob Kardashian, which resulted in a child in 2016. Furthermore, she filed a lawsuit for $1.6 billion, claiming the Kardashian family defamed her, and they were also responsible for the cancellation of her show 'Rob & Chyna.' White's memoir is scheduled for release in January 2027 and is already available for pre-order.
