It is reported that Salah's negotiations with Besiktas have advanced considerably. However, the process was paused due to certain contract clauses, specifically issues related to the player's agent, Rami Abbos. Nevertheless, according to Yagiz Sabunjoğlu, Besiktas remains the main contender at the moment because the Turkish club offered the player the most favorable financial terms.
