This prestigious competition lasted three days and involved 22 teachers selected from all cities and districts of the region. Participants presented their professional potential, innovative approaches, and creative experience.
The competition was organized at the Pedagogical Center of the Syrdarya Region in the city of Guliston, initiated by the Ministry of Preschool and School Education. The main goal of the event was to identify teachers who work effectively in educational institutions, apply modern pedagogical technologies, and possess advanced practical experience, as well as to encourage and popularize their activities.
Before the start of the competition, the Deputy Minister of Preschool and School Education, Farhod Bokiyev, met with the jury members and participants. During this meeting, clear instructions were given to responsible persons regarding the conduct of the competition in an atmosphere of openness, transparency, and honesty, as well as strict adherence to evaluation criteria and objective assessment of each participant. The Deputy Minister wished the participants good luck, emphasizing that this competition is an important platform for exchanging experiences, realizing potential, and professional growth of educators.
Before reaching the regional stage, participants successfully passed a series of preliminary selections. Initially, their qualification categories were taken into account. Subsequent stages included assessing their lesson delivery skills, ability to apply modern pedagogical technologies, as well as their spiritual and intellectual activity and reader literacy. In the final stage, participants gave presentations on their work, implemented innovative projects, and achieved results.
One of the most responsible tests was the literature test. Participants were asked questions based on a recommended list of 21 sources. Sixteen questions related to fiction, while the remainder were dedicated to the works of the President, the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the laws 'On Education' and 'On the Status of a Teacher'. Thus, not only the professional competence of the teachers but also their cultural level, legal awareness, and worldview were assessed.
According to Khilola Nazarbekova, head of the Department of Preschool and School Education of the Syrdarya Region, the high attention paid to the field of education by the state creates broad opportunities for the continuous improvement of teachers' professional skills, the dissemination of best practices, and the introduction of innovations into the educational process. She noted that the 'Teacher of the Year' competition serves not only as a platform for competition but also as a place for exchanging ideas and talents, encouraging teachers towards continuous self-improvement and improving the quality of education.
Competition participant Saiyora Berdiyorova, a primary school teacher at the 3rd General Secondary School in the city of Shirin, considers this competition a valuable learning experience for any educator. She added that the high evaluation of her work and personal development during the presentation stage gave her greater confidence before subsequent tests. The literature tests were particularly important, becoming one of the most responsible stages of the competition. She also emphasized that the open and fair organization of the competition gave her additional confidence and moral boost.
Following the three-day competition, the winners will be recognized as the teachers who showed the best results, and they will be honored on the occasion of Teacher and Mentor Day on October 1st of this year. The 'Teacher of the Year' competition goes beyond simply determining the best teachers; it has become an important professional and educational project that contributes to strengthening the competitive environment in the education system, popularizing advanced methodologies, improving teachers' qualifications, and advancing the field to a new qualitative level.

The lowest values for the average wage were registered in the Kashkadarya region, where it was 4.865 million soms, as well as in the Surkhandarya region, where the indicator reached 4.937 million soms.

Behind the athlete's successes are years of hard work, strong will, and determination. Currently, Asadbek is working to expand his experience by actively participating in international competitions. His main goal is to constantly increase national pride through successful participation in Asian, European, and World championships and securing a worthy place among the world's strongest wrestlers.
This citizen, who recognizes education as an equally important task as sports, intends to use the knowledge and experience gained to develop sports in the future. His achievements serve as an example of diligence, aspiration, and devotion to the Motherland for young people.
