Uzbekistan National Team Participates in U18 Women's Handball World Championship

Participants of the Uzbek team are demonstrating respectable results in women's matches at the Junior World Wrestling Championship (U17), which is taking place in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.

Tournament Progress on July 31

On the second day of the women's martial arts tournament, July 31, Mukhlisa Masharipova, a member of the national team, will compete in the final of the 43 kg weight category. She will fight against German athlete Finja Vivian Strauch.

Mukhlisa Masharipova's Achievements

Previously, Mukhlisa Masharipova lost to American Suzanne Landini in the round of 16 with a score of 10:0. In the quarter-finals, she was defeated by Japanese Sera Furuichi 5:1, and in the semi-finals, she was beaten by Canadian Maya Nikeer with a score of 6:2.

Competitions in Other Weight Categories

Additionally, Shahzoda Azimova, representing the country in the 65 kg weight class, will face Ukrainian Irina Bukhtina today in a match for the bronze medal.

General Information About the Championship

It should be noted that the international competition is being held with the participation of almost 700 young athletes from more than 60 countries and will last until August 2.

As part of the World Para-Academic Racing Championship held in Germany in the U-23 age category, the Uzbekistan national team achieved a historic result.

World Championship Results

A participant from the Uzbekistan national team, Akbarali Abdulvaliev, successfully passed the qualification rounds in the PR3 M1X discipline. In the final match against representatives from France and Germany, he crossed the finish line in 08:05.84 seconds, overtaking his opponent and winning the bronze medal.

Historic Achievement

In this discipline, the gold and silver medals went to representatives from Australia and Italy, respectively. It is worth noting that previously no domestic athlete had taken high positions at World Para-Academic Racing Championships in the U-23 age group. The high result achieved by Akbarali Abdulvaliev at the U-23 World Championship is a unique indicator in the history of the country's para-sports.

A reception by the regional justice department took place in the village of Yakkachikyr in the Tuproqqal'a district of Khorezm region.

Heads of the regional justice department, representatives of the 'neighborhood council,' and other organizations were present. During the reception, issues such as the adaptation of individuals under preventive registration, working with families in disputes, timely resolution of legal problems, and strengthening cooperation with the 'neighborhood council' in this area were discussed.

More than 30 citizens' appeals were heard during the reception. Ten appeals were resolved on the spot, and legal clarifications were provided for ten appeals. Twenty citizens received legal and state services as part of the outreach reception, and six appeals requiring investigation were accepted for work.

Citizen Ma'murjon Zhumaboyev noted that Yakkachikyr is one of the most remote villages not only in the region but also in the country. He emphasized that traveling to the regional center requires significant time and financial expenditure for the population. The arrival of the head of the justice department in their village reduces costs and facilitates citizens' appeals, as many issues are resolved directly on site.

During the reception, citizens were given direct explanations regarding new adopted laws, benefits, subsidies, and ways to protect their rights.
