The Uzbekistan women's national team is participating in the U18 Women's Handball World Championship, which is being held in Romania. The national youth team of Uzbekistan is playing in Group 'C' against the teams from Spain, Germany, and Guinea.
Tournament Start and First Match
The first matches of the World Championship, in which 32 national teams are participating and divided into 8 groups, took place yesterday. In the first game, our team played against the German national team, one of the leading world handball collectives.
Results and Significance of Matches
Despite the German team winning with a score of 44:13, our team demonstrated fighting spirit and determination. Such competitions are very important for young athletes as they help improve their skills, feel the demands of world handball, and prepare for future tournaments.
Further Game Schedule
Today, July 30, the Uzbekistan team will play an away match against the Spanish national team. The last group game is scheduled for August 1, when the girls will meet the Guinean team.
