During the visit, the delegation familiarized itself with the production processes of smart electricity meters, automated systems for measuring electricity and gas (ASKUE and ASKUG), surface mount technology (SMT) lines, as well as the assembly of modern electrical substations.
The representatives of the Afghan delegation were shown the company's production capacities, technological capabilities, and product range. Special attention was paid to smart electricity meters, which allow for accurate measurement of electricity consumption and provide remote control and monitoring for both residential and industrial facilities.
As part of its program of stay in Uzbekistan, the delegation also plans to visit cable manufacturing enterprises to study their production capabilities and offered products.
A delegation from the Afghan Chamber of Commerce and Investment (ACCI) arrived in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, to discuss expanding trade and economic interaction, as well as implementing joint investment projects.
The delegation included over one hundred entrepreneurs, investors, and representatives of ACCI. The three-day visit to Tashkent includes meetings with representatives of the government and regional authorities of Uzbekistan, as well as members of the Uzbek business community.
According to ACCI, Sayed Karim Hashemi and members of the delegation will hold negotiations with the governor and state officials of the Syrdarya region. The main focus will be on strengthening bilateral trade ties, increasing business cooperation, and finding new opportunities for joint investments.
The Afghan delegation also plans to visit industrial and production enterprises in the Syrdarya region to study the potential for cooperation between companies from the two countries. The delegation is accompanied by Faiz Ahmad Havafi, Deputy Chairman of ACCI for Regional Issues, as well as board members Sahi Ahmad Norzad and Yahya Pashtun. This visit takes place against the backdrop of the ongoing development of trade and economic partnership between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan, which includes expanding bilateral trade, developing transport routes, and seeking new investment horizons.
