The 'Arda Khiva' tourism complex and the FlyArystan airline took a significant step to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries on the opening day of the 'Future Games' international competition. In this regard, a meeting was held in Almaty with the participation of tour operators from Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, dedicated to the launch of a new international Almaty – Urganch – Almaty air route.
Tourism Packages and Accommodation
During the meeting, representatives of 'Arda Khiva' presented the rich tourism potential of the Khorezm region and special tourist packages prepared for FlyArystan passengers. These packages include hotel accommodation and excursion programs. The FlyArystan airline also provided information about the possibilities of the new air route.
Urganch and the Historical Center
The city of Urganch is located only 30 kilometers from the ancient city of Khiva, whose historical center, Ichon Qala, is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Infotour and Cooperation
The parties agreed to organize an introductory infotour in Khorezm during the 'Golden Pumpkin' festival on August 7–10 for leading Kazakh tour operators and bloggers. The infotour program includes an excursion to the historical center of Khiva, Ichon Qala, familiarization with the infrastructure of the 'Arda Khiva' complex, participation in festival events, and B2B meetings with representatives of the regional tourism sector. This opportunity will help participants personally assess the tourism potential of Khorezm and create new attractive offers for Kazakh tourists.
Air Route and Memorandum
It should be noted that the memorandum on cooperation between 'Arda Khiva' and FlyArystan was signed at the beginning of the year, and the meeting in Almaty was the next important step in implementing this memorandum. Regular direct flights along the Almaty – Urganch – Almaty route will begin on September 3, operating twice a week—Tuesdays and Sundays. Airline tickets are available for purchase through the FlyArystan mobile application, the airline's official website, and other sales channels.
