In the Karaqalpaqstan Republic, trials are continuing as part of the third stage of the 'Teacher of the Year' competition at the Pedagogical Center for Professional Mastery. Participants presented their portfolios, highlighting their pedagogical activities, professional achievements, best practices, and innovative approaches implemented in the educational process.
Assessment of Pedagogical Activity

The Tukhthakpur District Department and the Tukhthakpur District Women's Department jointly held a stage of the competition aimed at supporting women's entrepreneurial activity and widely disseminating their best practices. The competition was held at a high level.
Participants' business activities were assessed by the jury based on criteria such as innovative approach, social activity, created jobs, as well as the competitiveness of products and services. Winners were awarded honorary certificates and valuable gifts by the Prefecture of Tukhthakpur District. This competition became one of the important initiatives aimed at increasing women's activity in entrepreneurship and supporting new ventures.
Infrastructure Development in Nukus
As part of implementing the President's decree of February 2, 2026, on measures to increase population income, create stable jobs, and reduce poverty through territory modernization in 2026, work continues to improve road transport infrastructure in Nukus district.
Specifically, repairs and paving of the road leading to the settlement of Oqterak in Nukus district have begun. 3 billion soums from the state budget have been allocated to this project, and the 3.2-kilometer road is fully paved. Construction and repair work is being carried out on the site using special equipment and specialists in accordance with the approved plan, which ensures convenience and safety of transport movement for the residents of the village, and improves conditions for passengers and drivers, contributing to the socio-economic development of the region.
