A significant step has been taken in the development of inclusive education and the creation of a barrier-free environment in the Syrdarya region. The modern Nosai UV Flatbed Printer has been commissioned at the specialized boarding school for blind children No. 11 'Nurliman' in the Guliston district, enabling local manufacturing of Braille information materials and tactile products.
This project is a practical realization of reforms aimed at ensuring equal opportunities for people with disabilities in the country, guaranteeing them independent access to information and expanding the barrier-free environment in social infrastructure facilities.
The high-tech equipment is capable of printing images and inscriptions with high precision on various surfaces, including glass, metal, wood, acrylic, plastic, ceramics, leather, MDF, and other materials. This opens up the possibility of creating Braille alphabet information signs, tactile indicators, special door and room signs, as well as relief graphics and educational and methodological aids for people with visual impairments.
Most importantly, these items are now produced quickly and in quality locally, eliminating the need to order them from abroad. This contributes to saving time and funds while promoting the further development of an inclusive environment.
The director of the specialized dormitory 'Nurliman', Nigora Balikova, noted that the launch of the Nosai UV Flatbed Printer equipment marks a new stage in the institution's activities. They can now independently produce Braille alphabet information signs, tactile aids, special signs for classrooms and doors, as well as educational and methodological materials and relief graphics. She emphasized that the products will not only meet the needs of the dormitory itself but also help form a barrier-free environment in state institutions, educational and medical facilities, banks, cultural centers, and other organizations. This is of great importance for ensuring independent access to information and free mobility for people with visual impairments in public places. In the future, the project plans to expand, increase the range of products, and strengthen cooperation with social partners to make a worthy contribution to the development of the inclusive environment.
The potential of the new equipment is not limited to the needs of the educational institution. Products such as professional Braille signs, information stands, classroom and door signs, and tactile navigation aids can now be manufactured locally for state and non-state organizations, educational and medical institutions, banks, cultural centers, and other social facilities.
This, in turn, serves the goal of forming an inclusive society in the country, equipping social infrastructure facilities in accordance with modern requirements, and ensuring the right of people with disabilities to equal access to information.
An important aspect of the project is its educational significance. Modern equipment helps develop practical skills of students, enhances their qualifications in working with digital technologies, and lays a solid foundation for mastering modern professions.
Thus, the initiative implemented at 'Nurliman' has become a bright example of the effective use of modern technology's potential for the benefit of humanity. As part of these noble goals, a 'Job Fair' was held at the Abu Ali ibn Sina State Medical Institute to help graduate residents and master's students find employment. This event served as an important platform assisting young people in taking a confident step into their professional careers.
The event was conducted at a high level as part of the implementation of the 'Roadmap' approved by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Khokimiyat of the Bukhara Region. Attendees included the Rector of the institute, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Shukhrat Teshaev; the Deputy Director of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center named after Academician V. Vohidov, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Said Ismoilov; Khushnud Jalilov, First Deputy Head of the Healthcare Department of the Bukhara Region; heads of medical institutions; leaders of regional medical associations; as well as representatives from the healthcare systems of Kashkadarya, Navoi, and Surkhandarya regions.
At the beginning of the event, guests were introduced to the extensive updates made at the institute over the past years. They toured the modern diagnostic and treatment equipment in the institute's clinic, high-tech medical services, the scientific laboratory of folk medicine, and a museum reflecting the rich history of the institute, highly appreciating the alignment between education and practice.
The main part of the fair presented vacancies in various regions of the country for 304 graduates completing their studies at the institute in 2026. Among them, 82 are master's students, and 222 are clinical residents. During the event, each graduate communicated directly with employers, considering their specialization, interests, and future career path. This provided young specialists with the opportunity to realize their knowledge and potential in a respectable workplace.
More than 200 employment contracts were signed following the fair. Notably, over 30 bachelor's degree graduates who previously struggled to find work also secured suitable positions in their specialty. This underscores the practical effectiveness of the event and its focus on supporting youth.
Representatives of the healthcare departments of Navoi, Kashkadarya, and Surkhandarya regions also provided detailed information about staffing needs, available vacancies, and working conditions in their regions, concluding employment agreements with graduates. Furthermore, issues regarding the procedure for hiring young people, opportunities for service, and prospects for professional growth were clarified.
Such practical events are a living embodiment of the principles promoted by the President, such as 'the value of man,' 'quality medical services,' and 'providing youth with decent work.' After all, a qualified doctor is a reliable pillar of national health, and their labor is one of the most important factors in societal development.

Special attention is paid to supporting people with disabilities, lonely elderly people, and those who need care from others, which has become one of the main directions of state policy. Systematic work is being carried out in the 'Qozikent' mahalla of the Jondor district of Bukhara region to provide social support to the population, targeted assistance to needy families, as well as care for people with disabilities and lonely elderly people. This mahalla has 3375 residents, and social worker Salohiddin Bahridinov carries out his activities based on the principle of individual work with every needy citizen. This approach allows for studying the needs of each person and providing them with appropriate social services.
Currently, there are 80 people with disabilities living in the mahalla. Four of them have been involved in adaptive sports classes, which has given them the opportunity to participate in physical activity and social life. In addition, 14 citizens have been employed, and suitable conditions have been created for their independent living. Also, 33 needy people have received orthopedic prosthetics and technical rehabilitation aids.
Elderly people living alone are also under the attention of the state and society. Currently, three lonely elderly people are under constant social protection. As part of the 'Step to Active Life' program, household and social services are regularly provided at home to five citizens who need care from others.
The results of these good deeds are clearly demonstrated by the example of Tamara Zulfikorova, who lives with her sister Norgul Boboyeva. The mahalla social worker added Tamara to the register of lonely elderly people and launched a targeted assistance system. This assistance included referral to a sanatorium for health recovery, medical examination, free provision of necessary medicines, and allocation of financial aid. Additionally, within the framework of the 'Step to Active Life' program, home-based domestic support was organized. One-time financial aid was provided on the occasion of the autumn-winter period and the Ramadan holiday, and regular compensation payments are made on time.
An important moment was the installation of a modern solar panel in this house at the initiative of sponsors. This not only helps reduce electricity costs but also improves the family's living conditions. Such practical help is not just material support, but a vivid example of attention, love, and care for a person.
The work being done in the 'Qozikent' mahalla today once again confirms the truth: in a society where people are valued, no one is left without attention. Obtaining information about the condition of every needy person, listening to their problems, and finding practical solutions has become a way of life in the mahalla. Good deeds in the 'Qozikent' mahalla are another bright proof that the interests of the individual have become the main measure of all reforms in New Uzbekistan. These charitable initiatives, based on the principle 'For the Value of Man' put forward by the head of state, strengthen the atmosphere of compassion, solidarity, and social justice in society. Most importantly, such endeavors strengthen citizens' faith in a better future, demonstrating in practice that no one is alone, and the state and society are always there for them.
