Shivbhakt Sunil completes pilgrimage to Amarnath, lying on styrofoam for over 413 days

As part of an open dialogue with voters, the deputy of the District Council and the head of the district, Komiljon Mullajanov, participated in the event in the Ittifoq mahalla of the Saihunobod district. The event was organized at the building of the 36th general education school.

Review of Citizens' Appeals

During the meeting, 37 appeals received from citizens were examined. As a result of the review, a positive decision was found for 11 of them directly at the meeting venue. For the remaining appeals, clear instructions were issued to the heads of relevant organizations, and their execution was placed under strict control.

Topics Discussed and Goals of the Meeting

Heads of state and public organizations, mahalla activists, and representatives of the general public took part in the event. The main goal of the dialogue was to directly hear the problems causing concern among the population, study them on site, and find an operational solution.

Citizens voiced their suggestions and complaints regarding important issues such as housing provision, access to drinking water and electricity, the condition of road infrastructure, employment, social protection, quality of utility services, and other current issues. Each appeal was thoroughly discussed with the participation of responsible persons, and specific tasks for their resolution were defined.

Position of the District Head

Komiljon Mullajanov emphasized that resolving 11 appeals on the spot is a practical example of a quick and effective approach to residents' problems. Regarding the other appeals, deadlines for execution have been set for the responsible persons, and constant monitoring is maintained over their fulfillment.

The district head stated that such open meetings are held not for formality, but to listen to the concerns of the population, study problems on site, find a way out for every appeal, and provide practical assistance to citizens. He noted that every appeal is under scrutiny because behind each problem lie the interests and fate of a person. Mullajanov added that simply hearing a problem is not enough; the most important task is to find a practical solution and achieve results.

It is emphasized that an open and sincere dialogue with the population, timely consideration of appeals, and the search for legal and fair solutions to all issues are among the key areas of activity of state bodies. This is because behind every appeal lie the fate of a person, the interests of a family, and faith in the future.

The Supreme Court of India ruled on Friday that the Madhya Pradesh government must arrange suitable conditions for members of the Muslim community to perform Friday prayers on territory adjacent to the disputed Bodhshala-Kamal Maula complex in Dhar city.

Court's Stance and Requirements

The court also noted that another nearby location could be designated if necessary, with the mutual consent of both parties. This decision followed the Muslim side informing the court that the alternative site proposed by the state government was too far from the contested complex and did not meet previous directives of the highest court.

Clarification of Temporary Measures

The bench, headed by Chief Justice Surya Kant, clarified a previously issued temporary order. Members of the Muslim community were permitted to hold Friday prayers from 13:00 to 15:00 on plot number 596, which was claimed to be dargah land adjoining the disputed area. The bench mandated the Madhya Pradesh government to take necessary steps to ensure prayers are held at this location.

Possibility of Location Change

The Supreme Court also emphasized that if the selected land proves unsuitable, the state government and the Muslim community can jointly designate another neighboring spot by mutual agreement. According to the court, the presented plot plan showed that cadastral number 596 has an independent access road and appears suitable as it is close to the disputed territory.

Circumstances of the Dispute

This clarification came after a petition from the Muslim side. It stated that the current temporary arrangement required devotees to pray at a location approximately one kilometer from the Bodhshala complex. Earlier this week, senior advocate Huzaifa Ahmadi, representing the Muslim side, told the court that the land designated by the state government was significantly farther away than the court had assumed when requiring an adjacent site.

Reaction of Representatives

Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, representing the Madhya Pradesh government, assured the court that he would personally review the matter following the Muslim side's objections regarding the distance of the alternative site. The dispute concerns the Bodhshala-Kamal Maula complex in Dhar district, Madhya Pradesh. Earlier this month, the Supreme Court ruled that the existing arrangement on the disputed territory would be temporary and subject to the final decision on appeals challenging the Madhya Pradesh High Court's ruling, which declared Bodhshala a temple dedicated to the goddess Saraswati.

Additional Court Directives

The Supreme Court also ordered that any structural changes made by the Archaeological Survey of India at the disputed complex must not occur without its permission. The issue remains pending before the Supreme Court.

A meeting was held with the 'neighborhood community' in the 'Arboblar' quarter of the district, during which the progress of work in several areas was analyzed: teaching youth crafts, increasing women's economic activity, social support for needy families, and creating favorable conditions for citizens wishing to start their own business.

During the meetings, appeals from representatives of the quarters were heard, and measures to resolve them were determined jointly with deputies of the local Council and heads of organizations.

Durbek Akhmedov's activity in Tashkent

In addition, Deputy Durbek Akhmedov of the Legislative Chamber visits quarters in Uchtepa district of Tashkent city, as well as socio-economic facilities, holding open discussions with residents. Measures are being taken to eliminate identified shortcomings and problems while studying socio-economic facilities in the region.
