Systematic work is being carried out in the 'Qozikent' mahalla of the Jondor district of Bukhara region to provide social support to the population, targeted assistance to needy families, as well as care for people with disabilities and lonely elderly people. This mahalla has 3375 residents, and social worker Salohiddin Bahridinov carries out his activities based on the principle of individual work with every needy citizen. This approach allows for studying the needs of each person and providing them with appropriate social services.
Currently, there are 80 people with disabilities living in the mahalla. Four of them have been involved in adaptive sports classes, which has given them the opportunity to participate in physical activity and social life. In addition, 14 citizens have been employed, and suitable conditions have been created for their independent living. Also, 33 needy people have received orthopedic prosthetics and technical rehabilitation aids.
Elderly people living alone are also under the attention of the state and society. Currently, three lonely elderly people are under constant social protection. As part of the 'Step to Active Life' program, household and social services are regularly provided at home to five citizens who need care from others.

The mahalla social worker added Tamara to the register of lonely elderly people and launched a targeted assistance system. Additionally, within the framework of the 'Step to Active Life' program, home-based domestic support was organized. One-time financial aid was provided on the occasion of the autumn-winter period and the Ramadan holiday, and regular compensation payments are made on time.

The increase in visitors demonstrates the ongoing efforts to develop museum activities in Uzbekistan in recent years, equip them with modern technologies, and transform them into more attractive venues for the public.
According to data from the National Statistics Committee, a total of 137 museums, including branches, are operating in the republic as of January 1, 2026. The fact that 5.5 million people visited these museums during 2025 indicates a year-on-year increase in interest in the field.
Analyses show that the number of museum visitors increased by 692.3 thousand people, or 14.5 percent, compared to 2024. This growth is attributed to several important factors, such as state programs aimed at developing domestic tourism, the restoration of cultural heritage sites, the introduction of interactive exhibitions and digital services in museums, and the rising public interest in cultural enrichment.
Based on statistics, this equates to 145 museum visits per thousand inhabitants. This indicator shows that although museums are present in social life, they hold an important place. To further increase this figure, it is crucial to strengthen cooperation with educational institutions, implement special cultural projects for youth, expand the role of museums along tourist routes, and utilize digital technologies effectively.
