The IT company Happiest Minds Technologies has presented its results for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2027. The company demonstrated an 18.3 percent year-on-year growth in consolidated net profit, reaching INR 67.6 crore for the period from April to June 2027.
Quarterly Financial Performance
According to regulatory filings, the company's net profit in the same quarter of the 2026 fiscal year was INR 57.13 crore. For the quarter under review, operating revenue increased by 14.3 percent, amounting to INR 628.51 crore compared to INR 549.9 crore a year earlier.
On a sequential basis, profit and revenue grew by 10.5 percent and 4 percent, respectively.
Company Strategy and Development
The CEO of Happiest Minds, Joseph Anantharaju, noted that the company started the 2027 fiscal year with strong figures. He emphasized that the strategy focused on artificial intelligence is gaining significant popularity, providing a strong impetus in the areas of AI and analytics, digital engineering, platforms, and industry solutions. Furthermore, the company has formed and expanded its sales funnel, which grew by 20 percent compared to the previous quarter.
Anantharaju expressed confidence in the company's ability to sustain business growth due to the quality and breadth of opportunities in its sales funnel. As of June 30, 2026, the company's workforce comprised 6,532 employees working in 16 countries.
