CBLOL resumed its second stage, bringing with it a strong sense of nostalgia, with the participation of teams like Pain Gaming and CNB, using historical lineups to relive memories from the early years of the Brazilian competitive scene.
Before the start of the official matches, the audience had access to a League of Legends Classic showmatch, bringing together paiN Legends and CNB Legends with their classic rosters. For those who started playing League of Legends in the 2010s, this event represented more than just entertainment, configuring itself as a true temporal retrospective.
The special broadcast revived old elements of the game, including the classic interface, the original logo, and the presence of iconic casters, recreating the atmosphere of the initial national championships.
For those unfamiliar, Riot Games plans to officially launch the LoL Classic mode on July 29 within League of Legends itself. This feature will allow players to revisit previous versions of the game, accessing runes, spells, items, and visuals characteristic of the game's beginnings, replicating part of the gameplay that defined the first years of the game.
A moment dedicated to veterans was reserved before the showmatch. Revolta and brTT, prominent figures in CBLOL history, debated their trajectories, recalled important moments, and gave opinions on the current state of the competitive scene. When discussing the new crop, Revolta pointed out Tatu as a player who catches his attention, while brTT mentioned Ayu and Rabelo, adding casually that 'there is still room for improvement'.
This meeting symbolized the union between past experience and the present, with the most experienced athletes recognizing the talent of the new generation. Subsequently, the highly anticipated showmatch took place, and CNB Legends prevailed over paiN Legends after 35 minutes of dispute, overcoming a team that boasted the 2015 Brazilian champion lineup.
After the match, the competitors shared stories from the competitive era, turning the interview into an animated conversation, generating laughter among both the present audience and online viewers.
Another highlight was the individual matchup (x1) between Kami and Takeshi, two of the most notable mid laners in CBLOL history. The proposed challenge was to definitively resolve the community's question about who would be the best mid laner in Brazil. In the end, Kami achieved victory using Soraka, a character usually played in the support role, while Takeshi participated in the joke, once again accepting the nickname 'eternal runner-up'.
After Saturday's nostalgic atmosphere, the competition returned to the 2026 calendar with the current teams. The finalists from the first stage kicked off the round, with LOS defeating FURIA 2 to 0. Another highlight was the classic between paiN Gaming and LOUD, which ended 2 to 1 for LOUD.
On Sunday, Fluxo W7M surpassed Leviatán 2 to 0, and Vivo Keyd Stars defeated RED Canids in an exciting series, winning 2 to 1.
The return of CBLOL demonstrates that the Brazilian competitive scene remains focused on the future, while keeping alive the memory of those who contributed to building this trajectory. The first week of the second stage pleased both newcomers and fans who were happy to see names that defined a generation.
Shanil Gill, the sister of cricketer Shubman Gill, who often supports him at sporting events, is preparing to enter the public eye. According to reports, Shubman Gill's elder sister may become a participant in Karan Johar's popular reality show titled 'The Traitors 2'. If this information proves true, it will be Shanil's most significant public appearance to date.
Until now, Shanil was primarily known as the sister of Indian cricketer Shubman Gill. However, participating in this show will allow her to forge her own identity. Moving from stadiums to the world of television, she will demonstrate skills in strategy, cunning, and intellectual games.
Shanil Gill was born in Phagwara, Punjab, and received her primary education in Chandigarh. She later moved to Canada, where she obtained a diploma in business administration. According to available data, before becoming a social media influencer, she worked as a success consultant for a grocery delivery company. Today, Shanil enjoys great popularity on social media, where she has established herself as a lifestyle and fashion influencer. Her Instagram account has about 4.77 million followers who follow her travels, fitness, and stylish looks.
Shanil regularly supports Shubman Gill during cricket matches, and their sibling bond is very popular on social media. Her presence at games and joint photos with Shubman often go viral. Nevertheless, Shanil prefers to keep her private life away from public attention and remains quite reserved regarding personal matters.
Participating in 'The Traitors 2' will be a completely new experience for Shanil. Unlike the glamorous environment of cricket stadiums and social media, in this show, she will have to face trust, betrayal, strategy, and complex mental games. It is worth noting that Shanil has not previously participated in major reality shows, so it will be interesting to see how far she progresses in this game without television experience.
Besides Shanil, families of cricketers have already appeared in the reality show, such as Malti Chahar, Dipak Chahar's sister, and Shreshta Iyer, Shreyas Iyer's sister. The second season of the show, hosted by Karan Johar, is generating huge excitement among fans. Reports indicate that 21 celebrities will participate in the show, playing a game of strategy and cunning against each other. Among the announced participants are Shweta Tiwari, YouTuber Abhishek Malhan (Phukra Insaan), comedian Aditya Kulshreshth (Kullu), Riya Chakrabarti, Shalini Pasi, Dalip Tahil, Elvis Yadav, Rubina Dilak, Sounds Moufkir, Crystal Disuja, Parul Gulati, Harman Baweja, and Shanil Gill. Shweta Tiwari was previously the winner of 'Bigg Boss 4', and Abhishek Malhan appeared in 'Bigg Boss OTT 2.'
According to reports, the show's filming took place in March at Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. It is said that the entire cast filmed with Karan Johar for about two weeks. It is reported that the premiere of 'The Traitors 2' will take place on August 13, 2026, on Prime Video. The creators claim that the new season will be grander, bolder, and more dramatic than previous ones.
The racing version of the McLaren F1 supercar was adapted for road use, and the final auction value is estimated to exceed R$ 170 million.
The McLaren F1 is recognized as one of the most revered sports cars of the contemporary era, conceived by Gordon Murray with the goal of being a light and enjoyable vehicle to drive, representing his idea of the ideal car.
Initially, there were no plans to create a racing version of the McLaren F1; however, the introduction of the BPR Global GT Series category was well received by the model. This category was part of the endurance championship and had regulations focused on production supercars.
After some resistance, Gordon Murray agreed to develop the racing version. The McLaren F1 GTR was launched in 1995, featuring a more aggressive aerodynamic package, improvements to the cooling system, a simplified interior, and a limiter on the V12 engine that restricted power to 600 hp.
In 1997, the McLaren F1 GTR underwent a redesign, gaining a longer rear end and being equipped with a sequential gearbox. Only the monocoque was shared with the street-going model. These modifications were implemented so that the car could compete in the GT1 category.
A total of 28 units of the McLaren F1 GTR were produced: nine in 1995, nine in 1996, and ten in 1997 with the long rear configuration. One of these units, specifically the first manufactured in 1996 with chassis number 10R, is being offered by the auction house RM Sotheby’s.
This particular example participated in the pre-qualifying for the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1996, although it did not compete. Later, it was converted into a street car and sold to Nick Mason, the drummer for the band Pink Floyd. The vehicle is notable for appearing in some promotional photos of the brand, characterized by red paint with 'GTR' inscription in yellow and yellow wheels.
Nick Mason is known for his collection of sports cars, driving them, and participating in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. His garage has housed models such as the Ferrari 250 GTO, Jaguar D-Type, Bugatti Type 35, and Bentley 4½ Litre. The McLaren F1 GTR in question has already been involved in two recorded accidents: the first occurred in 2009 when a journalist was driving, and the second happened in 2017 when Nick Mason collided with the car at Goodwood.
The automobile was restored by Lanzante, a company specializing in the McLaren F1. Despite these two recorded incidents, the sale estimate is US$ 35 million, which is equivalent to R$ 179.43 million in direct conversion.
Cemre Baysel and Mert Yazıcıoğlu have completed filming for a new project as part of the Go Türkiye mini-series. The final installment, titled 'Kalbimin Rotası Karadeniz' (The Route of My Heart - Black Sea), is the last episode of the promotional project created by the Turkish Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA).
This project has become one of TGA's key global tourism campaigns, merging cinematic storytelling with the promotion of Turkey's cultural heritage, historical landmarks, and natural landscapes. According to TGA, the campaign has achieved impressive figures, gathering 8.2 billion views and 4.8 billion video views worldwide through its digital channels and international events.
With 'Kalbimin Rotası Karadeniz,' TGA continues its strategy of showcasing various regions of Turkey through fictional stories featuring famous national actors. The new series focuses on the Eastern Black Sea region, demonstrating its stunning mountains, forests, rivers, traditional villages, and age-old cultural customs.
Filming took place in the provinces of Trabzon, Rize, and Artvin, which are known for their picturesque nature, lush tea plantations, historical architecture, and rich local culture. The production aims to present these destinations to an international audience through cinematic narrative rather than standard tourist advertising. The project is realized by Sky Film studio with the participation of producer Emre Oskay. The script was written by Emre Kavuk, and the direction was handled by Ketche (Hakan Kırvavaç), known for his successful Turkish television dramas and films.
Cemre Baysel and Mert Yazıcıoğlu lead the cast, marking another high-profile collaboration within this internationally recognized tourism campaign. Although details about their characters have not yet been revealed, the plot is expected to follow an emotional journey through the Eastern Black Sea, blending romance with the region's unique landscapes and traditions. Previously, the Go Türkiye initiative released six successful mini-series, each focusing on different parts of the country and featuring renowned Turkish actors such as Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ, Serenay Sarıkaya, Afra Saraçoğlu, Engin Akyürek, Pınar Deniz, Alp Navruz, İlayda Alişan, Sıla Türkoğlu, and Serkan Çayoğlu, reaching audiences in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Latin America.
Following the completion of filming, 'Kalbimin Rotası Karadeniz' has entered the pre-broadcast preparation stage. TGA plans to announce further details regarding the release date and international distribution in the coming months, continuing to expand the global reach of the Go Türkiye brand.
