The federal government has implemented a new financing line aimed at facilitating the acquisition of motorcycles and bicycles by professionals working as application delivery drivers and motorcycle taxi drivers. This proposal allows for the financing of the full cost of the vehicle with interest rates lower than those currently practiced in the market.
The program, named Move Brazil Delivery Drivers and Motoapp, is administered by Caixa Econômica Federal. It covers both new models and electric vehicles, provided they meet the stipulated requirements. The initiative aims to support workers whose professional activity depends on the use of two wheels.
The operation has financial support from the government, provided through the Social Infrastructure Investment Fund (FIIS), and has a guarantee assured by the Operations Guarantee Fund (FGO). The established goal is to finance a total of 100 thousand motorcycles, scooters, or mopeds. Furthermore, the project encourages companies to expand their infrastructure for recharging or replacing electric vehicle batteries.
For delivery drivers and ride-share drivers to apply for the benefit, it is necessary to prove a minimum registration of six months on the respective platform and to have completed at least 100 rides or deliveries. Workers hired under the CLT regime, such as motorcycle couriers, cyclists, and motorcycle taxi drivers, must present formal registration with the same company for a minimum period of six months.
Eligible vehicles must meet rigorous specifications: flex motorcycles with a capacity of up to 160 cubic centimeters or electric models with a maximum power of 7,500 watts; electric bicycles limited to 1,000 watts of power; all vehicles must be brand new; and the models must be manufactured in Brazil or have a national production design.
Among the flex options, well-known models from Honda and Yamaha are available, with prices ranging between R$ 16,840 and R$ 23,390. The list includes the Honda Biz 125 EX (R$ 16,840), Honda CG 160 Cargo (R$ 18,390), Yamaha Factor (R$ 18,490), Honda CG 160 Fan (R$ 20,590), and Yamaha Crosser 150 Z ABS (R$ 22,990).
In the electric category, the program includes models such as Shineray SE1 and SE2, both costing R$ 12,490, as well as Watts W125, Shineray SHE-S, and Yamaha Neos. Although there is no official price ceiling, the power and national origin standards restrict the available choices.
A major advantage of the benefit is the possibility of financing 100% of the vehicle's value, without the need for an initial payment. Interest rates are set at 12.5% per year for men and 11.5% per year for women. These rates are significantly lower than the market average, which reached 26.6% per year in April 2026, according to the National Association of Automotive Financial Companies (ANEF).
The maximum term granted to individuals is 48 months, with a grace period of two months. Companies that decide to invest in charging or battery replacement points can also obtain financing for this structure and batteries, in addition to associated working capital, limited to 30% of the investments.
The application process must be carried out through the gov.br portal. Physical document submission is not required, as user data, including the National Driver's License (CNH), is accessed via the gov.br account. The response to the request is issued within five business days. After approval, the worker must contact a dealership or banking institution to finalize the credit analysis. The program does not impose name restrictions, but financial institutions have the autonomy to evaluate pending issues before contracting.
A fraudulent scheme involving a fake cryptocurrency wallet has put the security of the Apple App Store under judicial scrutiny. Three individuals claim to have suffered losses exceeding US$ 1.8 million (equivalent to about R$ 9.18 million) after installing deceptive software.
According to information released by Macrumors, the lawsuit filed against Apple questions the effectiveness of the store's review system in blocking access to an irregular application, reigniting the debate over the security guarantees offered by the corporation.
The lawsuit was filed in the Northern District of California. The plaintiffs report downloading an application called Sparrow Wallet, which aimed to imitate an established Bitcoin wallet. Although the official Sparrow Bitcoin Wallet was not available for iPhone, consumers chose to install the fake version through the App Store and subsequently transferred their Bitcoins to this fraudulent platform.
The financial damages detailed in the petition include: James Ramirez, who claims to have lost approximately US$ 875 thousand (about R$ 4.46 million); Christopher Ellis, who reports a loss of about US$ 840 thousand (approximately R$ 4.28 million); and Jalen Delgado, who states having lost about US$ 120 thousand (approximately R$ 612 thousand).
The plaintiffs argue that Apple failed by allowing such an application to reach users. Additionally, the accusation uses the company's own discourse as support, which emphasizes the control of the App Store as an extra layer of protection.
The controversy goes beyond the scam itself, as it questions one of Apple's argumentative pillars in discussions about the functioning of the App Store: the premise that a closed store, with prior app verification, provides greater security. The action points out that the company generated an expectation of trust by stating that programs available on the platform are subjected to checks before being released.
The lawsuit also mentions criticisms made by Craig Raw, creator of the Sparrow Bitcoin Wallet. The plaintiffs maintain that the developer had issued warnings that fake applications using the wallet's name remained accessible in the Apple store. The three users are seeking a jury trial, restitution of the lost amounts, and the implementation of more explicit risk alerts within the platform.
In a statement, the company declared that applications attempting to disguise themselves as others violate its guidelines and informed that it had taken immediate measures to remove them. The company also stated that, at the moment, there are no fake copies of the Sparrow Wallet available on the App Store.
Apple also mentioned an internal analysis of its ecosystem, indicating that it rejected over 371 thousand app submissions in 2025 that were copies of other programs, spam, or intended to deceive users. This lawsuit forces the company to face a central question: if the strict control of the App Store is presented as a security benefit, incidents like this serve to contest the extent of that protection in practice.
