A delegation of Uzbek entrepreneurs visited the Mandavi market, which is one of the largest wholesale trade centers in Kabul. During this visit, representatives of Uzbek business studied demand, pricing, and potential opportunities for developing trade with Afghanistan.
Members of the delegation familiarized themselves with the trade of various categories of goods, including food products, chemical products, electronics, household electrical goods, and others. Additionally, they analyzed the features of the local market, as well as opportunities for import and export.
The trip allowed entrepreneurs to gain insight into the real needs of the Afghan market, establish direct contacts with local business circles, and identify promising directions for joint work. Representatives of Uzbek business intend to continue negotiations with Afghan entrepreneurs during upcoming B2B meetings in Kabul. The main focus will be on increasing export volumes and concluding mutually beneficial trade agreements.
A delegation from the Afghan Chamber of Commerce and Investment (ACCI) arrived in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, to discuss expanding trade and economic interaction, as well as implementing joint investment projects.
The delegation included over one hundred entrepreneurs, investors, and representatives of ACCI. The three-day visit to Tashkent includes meetings with representatives of the government and regional authorities of Uzbekistan, as well as members of the Uzbek business community.
According to ACCI, Sayed Karim Hashemi and members of the delegation will hold negotiations with the governor and state officials of the Syrdarya region. The main focus will be on strengthening bilateral trade ties, increasing business cooperation, and finding new opportunities for joint investments.
The Afghan delegation also plans to visit industrial and production enterprises in the Syrdarya region to study the potential for cooperation between companies from the two countries. The delegation is accompanied by Faiz Ahmad Havafi, Deputy Chairman of ACCI for Regional Issues, as well as board members Sahi Ahmad Norzad and Yahya Pashtun. This visit takes place against the backdrop of the ongoing development of trade and economic partnership between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan, which includes expanding bilateral trade, developing transport routes, and seeking new investment horizons.
