The A Casa do Pátio Verde project, developed by andblack design studio, was conceived taking into account the cultural and climatic context of the city of Ahmedabad.
The residence, named House of Green Court, uses the courtyard typology as a central element to structure a home that houses three generations of a family. The design seeks to create a space that is simultaneously individualized and cohesive for all residents.
In addition to organizing family life, the project also focuses on modulating the level of privacy for the occupants, thus responding to current demands and the needs that are continuously transforming among the house's inhabitants.
The project team sent the description of a new residence built on an extensive plot of land. This property was conceived to integrate the garden into the interior of the house.
Through architectural planning that divides the distinct lifestyles of the residents and their family, the house offers a variety of environments. This organization allows the entire extended family to gather in a central area whenever they are together.
The house located in Ensenada, described as a large terrace suspended over the landscape, has a total area of 155 m².
The project was submitted by the design team and is scheduled to be completed in 2025.
