Croatian defender Josko Gvardiol has signed a new employment contract with Manchester City. This information was disclosed by journalist and insider Fabrizio Romano on social media.
According to sources, the new agreement between the parties will be valid until the summer of 2031. Club director Ugo Viana and head coach Enzo Maresca consider the 24-year-old defender as one of the key players of the team.
Previously, there were reports that the Madrid club Real is interested in Josko Gvardiol. The Croatian footballer has been playing for Manchester City since the summer of 2023. During this time, he has participated in 122 matches in all tournaments, scored 13 goals, and provided 10 assists.
