Later, a trailer leaked online from Comic-Con San Diego 2026, where everyone saw Yash's full look, which caused joyful excitement among fans.
How Yash Became Ravana
To embody the character of Ravana, Yash put in a lot of effort, paying attention to every detail—from appearance to complete immersion in the role. In an interview with the YouTube channel Review Nation, he talked about how he took on the guise of Ravana. He noted that as soon as he put on Ravana's heavy and majestic crown on set, he completely transformed into his character.
Atmosphere on Set
Meanwhile, director Nitish Tiwari joked a bit about Yash, mentioning the songs he played on set. Yash himself admitted that initially, he was quite serious, but during the filming of 'Ramayana', he created an atmosphere that could disrupt the workflow. Ranbir Kapoor also commented that he received information about how Yash changed the energy of the entire set through his songs.
Yash explained that he brought large speakers onto the set and played music at full volume. He immersed himself in a certain state by listening to songs of the God Shiva, since Ravana was considered a great devotee of Shiva. He wanted to dissolve into this state by listening to this music. The sound was so loud that it was very difficult for everyone to talk.
Release Date of 'Ramayana' Trailer
Regarding the film 'Ramayana', its official trailer was supposed to be released on July 24th. However, due to student protests and distribution partnership with Sony Pictures, the release date was postponed. Rumor has it that the creators plan to release the trailer on July 30th, which coincides with the release of 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' in India.
