Before the names of people working under him in the theft of donations at the temple emerged, no one doubted his intentions. This is evidenced by the fact that Minister Yogi Adityanath stated while forming the SIT: 'My heart does not allow me to think that Champat ji could have done anything wrong.'
However, once the layers of donation theft were revealed, public outrage descended directly upon the top leadership. Champat Rai faced serious allegations of administrative negligence and failure to strengthen the system. He was questioned about why he did not pay attention to suggestions for basic security and order that were made in time. As a result of the scandal, Champat Rai was also forced to resign. When the opposition and student activists raised questions, government supporters argued that the minister himself was not involved in the ticket leaks, and that such incidents occurred in other states too. Was Pradhan's appointment simply a reward for the party's victory in several difficult elections?

If you cannot ensure the reliable functioning of the system, history will remember you as a leader whose own reputation was clean, but whose negligence 'contaminated' the entire system. The leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party likely learned bitter lessons after the resignations of Champat Rai and Dharmendra Pradhan, paying a high price for it.

Three staff deaths were recorded in June, and over the last two months, according to several anonymous university sources, at least nine employees have been hospitalized due to health issues. Unisa staff, which is Africa's largest distance learning institution, claim they are on the verge of exhaustion due to a sharp increase in workload, a culture of intolerance, and insufficient intervention from supervisory bodies.
This crisis intensified after the university decided to eliminate positions for thousands of markers and e-tutors. The National Union of Education, Health and Allied Workers (Nehawu) presented the university Council with a 37-page memorandum warning of risks to staff health and safety related to chronic stress, fatigue, and poor work-life balance.
