The long-standing water supply problem in the Bogichinor mahalla, located in the Toilok district, has been resolved following the reconstruction of a water facility worth 5 billion sums. Thanks to these works, 860 households, corresponding to 4.3 thousand residents, have gained access to centralized clean drinking water for the first time.
In April of this year, the head of the Presidential Administration visited the residents of the Bogichinor mahalla in the Toilok district of the Samarkand region. During this meeting, the issue of centralized water supply in this area was noted, and it was promised that this matter would be resolved within three months.
In accordance with the planned measures, the water pipeline was repaired in the shortest possible time, a new well was drilled, reservoirs for water storage with a capacity of 250 cubic meters each were built, and a new water pipeline network with a length of 12 kilometers was laid. Parallel to these works, large-scale improvement works were carried out in the mahalla area, as a result of which Bogichinor has turned into a beautiful settlement.
The head of the Samarkand region, A. Boboev, took part in the commissioning ceremony of the water facility, emphasizing that these changes reflect the reforms aimed by the state at respecting human dignity. On the same day, several other new facilities were opened in the Toilok district in honor of the 35th anniversary of our country's independence.
Among them is the start of operations of a new enterprise in the Sochak mahalla, owned by ORZU ABLAKULOV SERVIS LLC, which specializes in the production of modern furniture. This has provided jobs for 50 people. Additionally, in the Varsin mahalla area, a private school and a logistics center were established in partnership with a Turkish entrepreneur under the joint venture 'BRO BEANS'. This project is capable of providing services worth 55 billion sums annually and creating jobs for 90 people.
New initiatives have been introduced aimed at strengthening the budgets of the mahallas. Initially, it was planned that the mahalla budgets for this year would amount to 600 billion sums.
By a Presidential decree adopted in June, the share of land and property tax paid into the mahalla was increased from 10% to 15%. Additionally, 10% of fines for violating sanitary norms and illegal construction will now go to the mahalla.
It has also been permitted for the mahallas themselves to sell buildings up to 5 thousand square meters. This will allow an increase in revenue to the mahalla budgets by another 405 billion sums.
Now, 5% of the land and property tax collected from real estate objects in the mahalla will also go directly to the mahalla itself. Thanks to this, the mahallas will receive an additional 400 billion sums annually.
During the year, 200 mahallas that demonstrate the highest number of registered entrepreneurs, create the most new jobs, have the highest level of understanding, and have found the largest tax base will be awarded 2 billion sums.
Overall, according to the new initiatives, revenues to the mahalla budgets this year will reach 1 trillion 600 billion sums, and from next year—2 trillion sums.
Under the chairmanship of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, video selection meetings continue regarding the implementation of a new environment in the mahallas and the updating of 'mahalla yettiligi' activities.
According to online reports, a fire broke out on forestry territories in the Okhangaron district. Contacts were established with the Republican FVV and those responsible for forestry to clarify this information.
On July 14 at 13:00, the Tashkent region Emergency Situations Department received a report of a fire involving dry grass and bushes in the 'Chuvildoq' MFI of the Okhangaron district. Based on this report, employees of the Okhangaron district FVB arrived at the scene at 13:45 and completely extinguished the fire by 15:20.
According to data provided by the state forestry department of the Okhangaron district, this area is located near a forest, specifically the district's reserve lands. Since the fire was extinguished in a timely manner, it did not spread to the forest areas. The cause and damage from the incident are currently being investigated. There were no casualties as a result of the incident.
