The meeting took place on July 22, 2026. The parties reviewed the current state of relations between Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia, as well as prospects for further expansion of cooperation.
Particular attention was paid to strengthening interaction in consular and legal matters, creating more favorable conditions for citizens of both countries, and developing practical cooperation in the field of labor migration.
Participants emphasized their interest in implementing digital solutions, increasing the efficiency of consular services, and improving cooperation mechanisms in the migration sector.
Furthermore, a number of initiatives aimed at strengthening ties between Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia were discussed. Agreement was reached to further study the proposals with the participation of relevant government agencies.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining regular dialogue and systematically expanding mutually beneficial cooperation.

Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan discussed opportunities to deepen interaction in the fields of geology, subsoil use, and groundwater resource management.
The discussions took place during the working visit of Rustam Yusupov, Deputy Minister of Mining Industry and Geology of Uzbekistan, to the Kyrgyz Republic. During the meetings, the parties reviewed issues regarding the preparation of a joint Action Plan in the mining and geological sectors, as well as potential projects for the exploration and development of mineral deposits.
Significant attention was paid to exchanging experience and implementing modern technologies in geological exploration. Participants discussed the prospects of applying advanced subsurface investigation methods for industry development. Kyrgyzstan's experience in the rational use, protection, and monitoring of groundwater reserves was also examined separately.
The parties also studied the possibility of applying digital technologies and artificial intelligence for hydrogeological modeling, data analysis, and forecasting. At the conclusion of the meetings, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan reaffirmed their mutual interest in further developing cooperation and implementing joint projects in the field of geology and rational use of natural resources.
A meeting took place in Tashkent at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan with a delegation from Sri Lanka. The delegation was headed by Aruni Ranaraja, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Employment in Labor Migration, and Tourism.
The parties discussed opportunities to increase trade and economic partnership, as well as develop direct ties between the business communities of the two countries. The main focus was on implementing joint projects and elevating bilateral economic interaction to a new level.
Participants noted significant potential for cooperation in areas such as tourism, textile industry, information technology, jewelry manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals.
To strengthen ties between entrepreneurial circles, it was proposed to sign a memorandum of understanding between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka. Furthermore, the Sri Lankan side invited representatives of Uzbek businesses to participate in the Sri Lanka Expo 2027 international exhibition, which is viewed as a platform for finding new partners, expanding external economic ties, and promoting investment opportunities.
At the conclusion of the negotiations, the parties agreed to continue joint work on implementing the reached agreements and further developing mutually beneficial cooperation.
