Because of this, the number of appeals to the President regarding inclusion in the register has increased by 1.5 times since the beginning of the year, reaching 46 thousand people from the initial 30 thousand.
The Prosecutor General's Office has been instructed to exercise strict control over the proper maintenance of the social register. Sh. Entrance examinations for admission to state higher and vocational educational institutions for the 2026-2027 academic year have started in Samarkand, which aligns with the republic-wide process.

Necessary conditions have been prepared for them in six spacious buildings attached to the regional department and higher education institutions. A total of 4,110 people can take the test simultaneously in these premises. All buildings are equipped with air conditioning to maintain a cool temperature, and each applicant has been issued a 0.5-liter bottle of water and a ballpoint pen.
The first session, held in the morning from 8:00 to 11:00, involved young people, and the second session continued from 15:00 to 18:00. More than 4,000 young men and women participated in the process.
