An interview session was held at the Berdak State University of Karakalpak dedicated to admitting foreign citizens for study in the 2026/2027 academic year.
Foreign applicants from China, Russia, and Kazakhstan participated in the event, expressing their desire to receive an education at this university. The meeting took place both in person and online via the Zoom platform.
The interview was conducted by the university's Vice-Rector for International Relations, Kamol Khamidov. During the event, participants were provided with detailed information about the university admission procedure, available fields of study, the educational process, and the established conditions. Issues regarding document legalization, migration, and opportunities provided to international students were also discussed.
The process continued in a question-and-answer format, allowing foreign applicants to receive comprehensive answers from the vice-rector and specialists on all topics of interest. As part of fulfilling these tasks, active work continues to expand ties with foreign partners and implement new educational and scientific projects.
Most importantly, the promotional events allow young people and their parents to personally familiarize themselves with the opportunities created at the institute, get to know the learning process more closely, and make a decision about their future profession based on deep consideration. A month of prosperity and generosity has been declared in the country's mahallas. This decision was made as part of the celebration of the Motherland's 35th anniversary of independence under the slogan 'One Homeland, One People, We Create a New Life and Future.'
It was emphasized that the results of reforms in all spheres must primarily be reflected in the mood of the people and the well-being of the mahallas. It is noted that our people have always started the day with prosperity, and where there is freedom and diligence, abundance and grace prevail.
To hold the celebration dedicated to the greatest and most cherished event, a month of prosperity and generosity has been announced in the mahallas. Each governor, his deputies, and heads of regional organizations are responsible for one district, and responsible persons in the districts are responsible for one mahalla, to organize large-scale work on liberation and improvement during the month.
A republican headquarters will be formed under the leadership of the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers to coordinate the mahalla improvement work. Regional headquarters will be headed by governors. It was stressed that these events are not a one-time monthly action but should turn into a nationwide movement operating throughout the year.
Currently, a video selection meeting chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev continues, dedicated to bringing a new atmosphere to the mahallas and renewing the activities of 'mahalla assemblies.'
A graduation evening was held at the Samarkand State Technical University dedicated to awarding diplomas to graduates of the 2025-2026 academic year.
In accordance with the decree of the head of state adopted on May 26 of this year, 'On measures for the further improvement of the activities of higher educational institutions in the Samarkand region,' the Samarkand State Technical University was established based on the Samarkand State Architectural and Construction University. It was stipulated that students who were studying at this institution would continue their studies at the new university.
During the completed academic year, the university graduated 1637 individuals across 27 bachelor's degree programs and 38 master's specialists. It is currently known that about 1300 graduates have found employment.
At the ceremony, the rector of the Samarkand State Technical University, Chidem Turkyilmaz, addressed the graduates and their parents with congratulations. She noted that this day marks not only the receipt of a diploma but also the culmination of many years of knowledge, experience, and student memories. The rector added that a new chapter of life opens before the graduates, providing the opportunity to implement the acquired knowledge and skills in professional activity, and wished everyone good luck and success on this path.
During the ceremony, diplomas were awarded to the graduates who successfully completed their studies.
