Rapper and singer Yo Yo Honey Singh has decided to temporarily withhold the teaser for his new track 'Moonlight'. He explained this decision by citing consideration for the current atmosphere among the youth and students in the country.
Change in Release Plans
Previously, Honey Singh had announced that his new track would be released on July 24, 2026, and later stated that the teaser would appear on Tuesday. However, on Tuesday morning, he surprised fans by posting an Instagram story.
Message of Support for Youth
In his Instagram story, Honey Singh wrote that he respects the feelings of India's youth and the country as a whole, which is why he is postponing the teaser for his new track 'Moonlight' for some time. He added the words: 'Bolnaat daai shakti in these children. Jai Hind.'
Although he did not mention any specific movements or organizations, his post appeared during a period of active discussions regarding student protests and educational issues in the country. Previously, Honey Singh had also made a post stating: 'The youth of India are immortal. Har Har Mahadev.'

She called on Sonam to stop the hunger strike, emphasizing that her health is as important as the struggle itself. Preeti Jinta expressed full support for the students and Sonam Wangchuk.
In addition to Preeti Jinta, celebrities such as Sonakshi Sinha, Huma Qureshi, Bomi Pednekar, Aditi Rao Hydari, Urfi Javed, Riteish Deshmukh, Janelia Deshmukh, and Sonu Sood also posted messages supporting the students on social media.
