On July 23, the final day of entrance tests for admission to bachelor's programs at state higher education institutions, as well as vocational education institutions, took place in Uzbekistan.
Testing and Document Submission Process
The examination tests were held over ten days, starting from July 14, and were conducted daily in two shifts. Applicants will be able to view the testing results on the relevant specialized websites.
Simultaneously, the document submission period for ninth-grade graduates to academic lyceums has ended, with 49,129 such applications registered. Corresponding entrance exams will soon be organized for these applicants.
Admission to Master's and Higher Education
The deadline for submitting documents for master's programs is set for July 30, with 37,952 applications received so far. Furthermore, admission to a second higher education will continue until August 10, and 11,605 people have already shown interest in this opportunity.
Applications for re-enrollment and transfer to educational institutions are also accepted until August 5. A total of 16,463 applications were submitted to state universities, while 787 were submitted to private ones.
Planned Increase in Admissions
It was previously announced that in the 2026/2027 academic year, universities in Uzbekistan plan to admit over 234 thousand students for full-time bachelor's studies, which represents an increase of approximately 58% compared to the previous year.
